Huh…

Looks like Pantifa has occupied an area around the Capital Hill section of Seattle after SPD ‘surrendered’ the East Precinct…

During a press briefing, Police Chief Carmen Best said Seattle Police would try something new.

“We’re not going to evacuate or abandon the East Precinct,” she said. “We will be hardening the East Precinct facility by boarding up the exterior windows, and applying fire retardant to the building exterior and installing fencing.”

Best said demonstrators should be able to walk freely around Capitol Hill.

Interesting doublespeak, but hard to pick out when they say, “Nobody’s going to hurt you but you need to leave.”

And in less than 24 hours, you have this…

Just as the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed territory in Iraq and Syria, antifa militants have claimed territory in Seattle, Wash. According to reports on the ground from The Post Millennial’s Andy Ngo and Townhall’s Julio Rosas, protesters and antifa instigators have seized land in the Capitol Hill area around the Seattle Police East Precinct. Like ISIS, the rioters appear to have decided on setting up a government in their occupied territory, naming it “Free Capitol Hill.”

And the Seattle Times coverage has been ‘interesting’ to put it mildly… HERE.

Things are getting strange out there… A friend sent me this and I can’t disagree with what he said…

I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, into a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me “Privileged”,  a racist & responsible for slavery.

I am a fiscal & moral conservative, which by today’s standards, makes me a fascist because I plan, budget & support myself.

I went to High School and college & got a degree and have always held a job. But I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was “advantaged”.

I am heterosexual, which according to “gay” folks, now makes me a homophobe.

I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which makes me a de facto member of the “vast NRA gun lobby”.

I am almost 70, making me a useless eater who doesn’t understand Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat.

I think & I reason, and I doubt much of what the “mainstream” media tells me, which makes me a “Right-wing conspiracy nut”.

I am proud of my heritage & our inclusive American culture, making me a xenophobe.

I believe in hard work, fair play, & fair compensation according to each individual’s merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort – not freedom of outcome or subsidies, which must make me a borderline sociopath.

I believe in the defense & protection of America for & by all citizens, now making me a militant.

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I stand & salute during our National Anthem – so I must be a racist.

Funny – it all took place over the last 7 or 8 years!  If all this nonsense wasn’t enough to deal with, now I don’t even know which restroom to use …
And now we have Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints publicly apologizing (with his wife) for not being black!
Please help me come to terms with the new me because I’m just not sure who I am anymore!
Neither am I… sigh…

And here is an interesting take from the Hodge Twins.<

  1. Organize and prepare, or be washed away. We’re entering a new stage of the generations-long insurgency against America.

Every year, they get stronger. Every year, we get weaker.

  2. Via the Internet – George Washington – ME AND MY HOMIES WOULDA BEEN STACKING BODIES RIGHT ABOUT NOW.

Pretty extreme but so is the politics. Lets all be careful out there.

  3. Your friend said it well. I’m 80, so it may not matter much to me (though you may have to come bail me out if the idiots get too near the farm here) — but my grandchildren? Sad.

  4. “…I’m just not sure who I am anymore!”

I realize that remark is sarc, but yeah, don’t have that problem here. Those who went before taught me well.

    Stacking bodies? Say when.

  5. My 49 year old autistic son lives just under 4 miles from that police station. Fortunately the Seattle geography puts Lake Union between the occupiers and him.

Talking to him on the phone, he expresses fear of going to his usual places. Dependent on public transportation, he must carefully plan any trips away from his neighborhood. It enrages me that these Antifa assholes are allowed to terrorize people with no consequences. The elected officials have abandoned all pretense of serving the general population.

I don’t want to relocate him. He has built a decent life for himself where he is and the change would set him back years. Probably just as well I’m 900 miles away. The temptation to unlimber a long rifle and drop some of those punks might be overwhelming.

    • My condolences sir. My soon to be 22 year old autistic son lives with my wife and I and I know of what you speak. Changing their routine can cause major setbacks, autistic individuals HATE changes that are beyond their control. I hope you find a solution to keep him in place – giving them confidence and training them to take care of themselves takes hard work and patience.

      • Good luck with yours. Mine lives in a wing of a mental health facility where he has help in dire situations and a social worker he meets with bi-monthly. Before the absurd minimum wage forced the cafeteria to close, he was a dishwasher/kitchen helper there for ten years.

  6. > don’t even know which bathroom to use

Well, in many Democrat-controlled cities, any sidewalk or lawn is just fine…

I expect to see “bathrooms are racist!” any time now, and all the doors chained shut…

  7. Did someone say Fort Apache, the Bronx Western Division?

  8. Why does anyone on the right, in this day and age, think it’s a good idea to take a Confederate flag to a rally. On the other hand, do we actually believe that there was a Confederate flag?

    • “BFYTW”
Anything that annoys the Left that much must be good.
We didn’t want one until they were banned.

  9. Your friend’s description could have been about me. Stacking bodies, hasn’t come to that here, and probably won’t. However, I need to get a long gun out of the basement safe, and load some magazines.

  10. This is the sort of thing that appears to validate my long ago decision to identify as monster.

I don’t fit whatever restrictively prescriptive definition of human decency someone is trying to guilt trip me into following? “Fine. I’m a monster.”

This may be evidence that they are losing, not winning.

  11. All- Thanks for the comments. WSF- I pray he’s able to stay and continue to function well. I have my range card, and magazines loaded…

    Posted from my iPhone.

  12. Go to the hardware store, get some stakes, white paint, black paint. Paint stakes white. Mark them in 50 yard increments. Convenient for home defense or to make protestors nervous as you mark out known distances while they’re watching.

Never thought I would really want surveying instruments and the know-how to use them. But now I do. Yes, I know, laser rangefinder blah blah blah, but to do it openly, blatantly, just out of their reach? Sounds like fun.

As to Antifa declaring a separate state within the city, separate from everyone, are they that stupid? First, big gov finally correctly identifies them as a terrorist organization. Now they actively spit in the face of local, state and Fed gov.

Want to be shot in the face by government troops? This, this is how you get shot in the face. Or gassed, or shot in the back, or run over by an armored vehicle.

You gotta admit they have moxie. Terminal, stupidly fatal moxie, but.. Then again, how many student takeovers since the 60’s did the local govs ignore and let continue.

I seriously doubt any of the pantifa will be pulled over and shot a bazillion times while conveniently in-car and body cam footage and any evidence goes missing. I don’t want anyone to be Lavoy-ed, but, dagnabit, this type of carp is just wrong.

Can’t wait till some free thinking free American folk tear down Lenin’s statue, but with the weird way people thing, that’s probably considered a hate crime…

Crazy Times. Heinlein was right. Crazy Times.

  13. And with no police to protect them, the homeless residents of the Zone took all the food and they have had to ask outsiders to send in food. I guess they don’t understand the meaning of “autonomous”. Bwahahaha!

  14. Having spent a fair amount of time in Seattle I know that area pretty well. NOT at all surprised something like this happened with the way things have deteriorated over the years. The mayor is likely to do NOTHING.
Since I am in the ‘burbs I don’t need range stakes or anything fancy – pretty much everything is within pistol or shotgun range 😉

  15. The description could be me; I’m a little younger but otherwise it fits.
However; I KNOW “who I am”
Proud inheritor to the finest country ever founded
Brother, son, father and grandfather to good productive people
Just about ready for those range stakes…

  16. Aaaaaand the anarchists, being unable to organize, have had a warlord-type take over and establish the rule of might, which makes him right.

    My shocked face: 😐

  17. Seattle is getting what it voted for, good and hard.
I would not risk my ass to save them from their own idiocy.
They should be careful what they wish for.

I think this country should print another few billion, take every one of these antifa idiots and their supporters, give them each 1,000 bucks and a plane ticket to Lagos. A few months in Africa would straighten them out PDQ.
Western Civilization-you’ll miss it when it’s gone.

  18. OMG the Hodge Twins are a great relief from all the insanity!

  19. Time to “Liberate” the left coast. It didn’t work in Iraq but I’m fine with giving it another try here on those idiots.

Thunder run through their little autonomous zone for a start.
