  1. The “Christmas Star” helps us to remember what’s important. There are a lot of distractions.

  2. We could sure use some special intervention this year.

That wall behind the tree looks familiar! 🙂

  3. First time I’ve seen rattlesnake used as garland, though.

  4. I’m surprised by the lack of branded ornaments, or branding irons.
I took the garland to be a braided leather lariat.
But after reading Psychokitteh’s post I’m on the fence.

I did look up cowboy ropes, and spent some time learning stuff on the internet.

I looked at the restaurant name on the photos on the wall and took a drive past the place via Streetview.
Unfortunately I can’t get the full effect of the smells of BBQ being cooked.

  5. LL- That it is…

    Tom- It should…LOL

PK/John- It’s a braided leather riata 🙂 And yes, it smells good and tastes just as good!!!

WSF- Did you expect something different??? LOL

    • Sam – I’ve seen a few of dem snattlers so I knew it was a rope – even in Texas we don’t grow em dat big!
