Maybe this is what we need to remind us to hang on a little longer…

The “Christmas Star” helps us to remember what’s important. There are a lot of distractions.
We could sure use some special intervention this year.

First time I’ve seen rattlesnake used as garland, though.

I’m surprised by the lack of branded ornaments, or branding irons.
I took the garland to be a braided leather lariat.
But after reading Psychokitteh’s post I’m on the fence.
I did look up cowboy ropes, and spent some time learning stuff on the internet.

I looked at the restaurant name on the photos on the wall and took a drive past the place via Streetview.
Unfortunately I can’t get the full effect of the smells of BBQ being cooked.
