  1. I know exactly what those old men are feeling… now if I could find my old Buick (sorry, Chevy, but at least my truck is a Chevy)… 446676H271575, 1966 Gran Sport convertible, last heard from in California about 20 years ago…

    • Don’t think I can find her, but the trucks aren’t going anywhere at all!!

  2. That is America. Not the “woke” idiots, not the 57 gender hypocrites, not the people who try to re-write history. None of them.

    And there are several millions of us who will never agree with their lies. Never.

  3. For some reason, I don’t see people in the future getting all teared up when they uncover their 50 year old electric vehicle.

    I’ve been fond of every van I’ve had. Wish I could have kept all of them and in good working order. Sigh.

    Even miss my mom’s Datsun B-210. Something about a small car with a manual transmission that spells ‘FUN.’

    Though the family Olds 98 with the big 454 and the leather bench seats, now that was a ‘go on a date’ car! And fast!

  4. Beans- Nope… The ‘other’ fun little car was a Datsun 510, they made a helluva little race car! Rollerskate with LOTS of power!!!

    • Even better was the Datsun -810-, that had the straight 6 from the 240Z, with the 260z fuel injection system (IIRC). With urathane bushings in the suspension, it handled close to a track car. We had a CHP Mustang try to catch it going downhill on I80 from the summit, around ’83 after the Reno Races. Not till the owner backed off to cruise. He didn’t realize the headlites were on a cop car. Oops!

  5. Car ads aren’t ‘sposed to make (or show) grown men cry. My nose is runny…

  6. I wonder what ever happened to that ’58 straight six Chevy Delray, with 3 on the column. Right rear tire always wore faster than the left… Curious, that was.

  7. 2U87T3N119585 for me. Last seen somewhere in San Pedro.

    Not sure if I’d want her back, though. The memories can’t be reproduced, but are stored safely away, and I think that’s where they belong.

  8. Hey Old NFO;

    Dang, That is a hella of a commercial, durn dust. My folks had a 67 Impala in Germany, I remember that car, and that she was blue and my mom hit a deuce and a half with it and messed up the fender. It got repaired. Dang the memories
