The Con ‘circus’ for the year is firing up, and a few of us are off to FantaSci in Raleigh-Durham, NC.

Needless to say, there will be light blogging (if any), and probably no commenting on any blogs as I’m on a few panels and will be enjoying time in meat space with friends I don’t see very often.

Ah, I see you are currently crossing the Texas Panhandle. (Actually, that was on Tuesday. 6″ of Global Warming™ at RedQuarters fell Monday-Tuesday.)
I’ve driven a few stretches like that. Road hypnosis makes we want to stop at the next DQ or gun shop to regain focus.
Drove through that area last year and was surprised how beautiful it is.
