Yay???

Hit publish last night on The Short Stories…

Not sure WHEN it will publish, but the paperback will wait until I get proof copies. And it was the usual two falls out of three to get through all the hoops. Sadly due to POD costs, the paperback will be $14.50 a copy, but the Kindle will be $4.99 as usual.

And it’s always interesting when you get stuff from readers!

An older reader, local to me, had his daughter give me this last night.

He likes staying ‘busy’, and it may not be perfect, but it’s the thought that counts…

And I truly appreciate that!

  1. That is a very cool graphic that speaks Truth. As does “If I thought I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself”.

  2. The only thing “Golden” about the “Golden Years” is my piss!

  3. Remember, every day you wake up on the right side of the lawn is a good day.

  4. Congrats on the book – I think ‘prolific’ is a good description of your ‘authorness’ 🙂 But it’s quality as well as quantity…

As for the plaque, that was one of my mom’s favorite sayings, and I’ve come to appreciate its wisdom more and more.

  5. It looks like Amazon finally published the book, but finding required diligent effort. The link goes to it.

Thank you for the collection and I’ve got it.

    • Found it by searching for “JL Curtis The Short Stories” on Amazon. Just searching on “JL Curtis”, Ice is the most recent publication.

Looking forward to reading it this weekend.

  6. Purchased “Short Stories” and the latest three Raconteur Press anthologies.

  7. The plaque is great, NOT how I’ve been wording it for a couple decades now, but close enough.
