Click on the cover for the Amazon link!

The blurb-

In this volume, you’ll see humans or other species take in orphans, abandoned infants, or even conquered subjects and struggle with adapting their own values and lifestyles to raising and nurturing children from different cultures. Families form strange and wonderful bonds, and each author brings a unique perspective to the ways this happens.

Pam Uphoff as the 11th book out in her CHronicles of the Fall series- Origin Stories

The blurb-

Six stories in the Troystvennyy Soyuz on the run up to and during the Fall of the Alliance.

Young people with problems with the brutal society, and all too often their own families. Young men and women reaching for a better future, as everything changes around them.

Last and certainly not least, Jack Carr has the latest in his Terminal List series out- Red Sky Mourning.

The blurb-

With the walls closing in, Navy SEAL sniper James Reece is on a race to dismantle a conspiracy that has forced America to her knees in the latest high-octane page-turner that seems ripped from the headlines from the “hottest author on the thriller scene today” (The Real Book Spy), #1 New York Times bestseller Jack Carr.

You think you know James Reece. Think again.

A storm is on the horizon. America’s days are numbered. A Chinese submarine has gone rogue and is navigating towards the continental United States, putting its nuclear missiles within striking distance of the West Coast.

A rising Silicon Valley tech mogul with unknown allegiances is at the forefront of a revolution in quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence.

A politician controlled by a foreign power is a breath away from the Oval Office.

Three seemingly disconnected events are on a collision course to ignite a power grab unlike anything the world has ever seen.

The country’s only hope is a quantum computer that has gone dark, retreating to the deepest levels of the internet, learning at a rate inconceivable at her inception. But during her time in hiding, she has done more than learn. She has become a weapon. She is now positioned to act as either the country’s greatest savior or its worst enemy. She is known as “Alice” and her only connection to the outside world is to a former Navy SEAL sniper named James Reece who has left the violence of his past life behind.

Will there be blood?

Count on it!

I highly recommend all of them, although I haven’t finished Jack Carr’s latest, busy trying to get a short story done. Speaking of that, The Short Stories is up to 33 reviews, still trying to get to 50. If you’ve read it, honest reviews are appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

  1. Purchased both:
    “Alien Family Values” and
“Hooves, Tracks and Sabers: Tales of Alternate History.”

I just finished reading “Full Steam Ahead”. Next up for me is “Giant Freakin’ Robots!” I’ve been looking forward to this one.

“The Short Stories”: C’mon folks, help OldNFO out with a review. Afterwards you can turn to the camera and say, “I’m doing my part!”

  2. Hey Old NFO;

I never saw the “short Story” link before in my kindle stuff, I am supposed to get notified when my “followed Author published stuff. So I downloaded it and will read it and leave a review. 🙂

  3. Note the TV series “Person Of Interest”, which I only found in reruns.
