I’m coming up on my annual retina check. No pokes in the eyeball planned, but I expect to get the fluorescein scan. Blinding light in each dilated eye, and my pee will be violently yellow for the rest of the day.
And I made the tactical mistake of having the appointment the day after Labor Day. So no Costco before checking into the hotel on Monday, and I’m supposed to get part of the goodies after the appointment. Think I’ll wait a few hours. It won’t help much; it usually takes all day for the dilator to wear off.
Got a DVD of Firefly so entertainment is ready…
He robbed from the rich and he gave to the poor.

Fox Network was barking mad to cancel that show. Idjits.
Ouch. I had cataract surgery for both eyes in July. I’ve also some PTSD about anything touching my eyes. It was a struggle. I’d never be able to get a poke in the eye without being unconscious.
Hope you recover quickly.
All- Thanks, it’s NOT fun, but necessary to keep the sight in that eye… sigh
Just got home from mine=now it stretches out to 5 weeks.
I haven’t been watching it, but get reports…
GB- Oh yeah… and it’s going to be a LONG five weeks.
