After a fire that never should have happened burned thousands of houses to the ground in a liberal enclave of Los Angeles through a combination of Democrat incompetence and more Democrat incompetence, you might ask yourself whether the deep blue people of Los Angeles are ever going to come to their senses and start electing people who aren’t a bunch of communist morons more concerned with Ghana junkets and lesbian representation at the fire department then with actually doing their jobs. Don’t bother asking. The answer is “No.” They’re never going to change. They can’t change. They’re going to keep on electing the same brand of Democrat mediocrities who got them into this mess, but they do have a plan. They’re going to blame the weather, insurance companies that don’t want to lose money, Donald Trump, and anything but themselves for the chaos they voted for.
If California’s Democrats didn’t have their incompetence, they wouldn’t have any kind of competence at all.

And I despair for my kids, even though they live in northern California. I hope one day they will realize how bad things are going to get. Their mother and step-father lost their house in the Camp Fire a couple of years ago, and had NO insurance, because the house was paid for, and they couldn’t afford the premiums IF they could have found somebody to cover it…
I guess it is the idea of somehow being the pop culture “nomenklatura” is a big deal for many rich Angelinos . I’m waiting to see how things go with these people politically moving forward, quite literally the smoke and fires haven’t cleared yet . Or, maybe Schlichter is right , the “free shit army” will always vote for free shit , the owners of charred mansions I have no idea . With the exception of a few elites , most I would think have get out of Dodge money and extra house or two . Oh yeah when is mudslide season out that way? My coffee is not working …kinda jumbled thoughts , but , want to say something like …the response and planning was “screwed the pooch” really piss poor , and lots of finger pointing going on .

And the cherry of all this I am hearing that Xiden is putting the Feds on the hook for all the rebuilding of LA for the first 6 months, and you know that 2 days after Trump takes over, the DNC controlled media will start blaming him that “relief” is moving too slowly for the suffering in LA while the people in NC and Tenn are still waiting. Funny that…..
It’s not just California. Look at how many people in this country voted for Basement Biden (even without the 81 million BS) and how many after his 4 years voted for Harris.

Californians, all of them, including your kids, will be asked to pay for the LA fire damage. They have some kind of equalization payment where everyone can be charged for cost overruns from the FAIR insurance plan. The article I was reading suggested that the fund has $8 billion, but that claims might exceed $24 billion. The plan includes language that results in insurers spreading those extra costs throughout the state.
