This one is about to get ‘interesting’, and NOT in a good way…
India said it attacked “terrorist infrastructure” in neighboring Pakistan on Wednesday in two of its occupied territories, killing at least one child and wounding two other people in what Pakistan has called a “blatant act of war.”
The Indian armed forces launched “Operation Sindoor,” which targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed, the Press Information Bureau of India said in a statement.
“Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature,” India’s Defense Ministry said in a statement. “No Pakistan military facilities have been targeted.”
This ‘disagreement’ goes back almost 80 years, to 1947, over the Kashmir region. Both India and Pakistan ‘claim’ it and there have been numerous skirmishes there for years.
The problem is, both countries have nukes, and Pakistan is basically run by the ISI, which is heavily muslim. They started the Taliban, in addition to harboring Bin Laden for years.
If this keeps escalating, I’d expect to see tac nukes inside a month probably from Pakistan but ‘blaming’ India…
If you were planning to travel in that area anytime soon, it ‘might’ be a good idea to change plans!

Scary indeed. Anytime extremist religious fanatics dictate government actions, mayhem is sure to follow. Religion has many benefits, but there are some drawbacks that are used to excuse their actions and cause chaos for all.
Pakistan has a long and bloody history of recruiting, training, and equipping large forces of terrorists. They wind them up, point them where they want them to go, and them let them do their thing.
The Pakistanis then claim to have no connection with the multiple, large scale atrocities that follow.
The Indians aren’t stupid. Plus, they still remember the Muslims slaughtering 300 million Hindus.
If I were you I’d plan for a smll, nuke war.
And plan for the appropriate preps here at home.
Fallout is a real thing, as is windborne dust.
and, of course, the people here will panic and the store will empty. Plan for that.

For this, in the USA, I will go the “classic” radiation treatment: beer and pretzels. Why those? Well, they’re just nice to have, really. But if you need an excuse, the beer causes fluids to cycle that much more quickly and the pretzels have salt which is likely iodized. Will it matter? NOPE. But now you have an excuse.

Random observation: If you don’t have potassium iodide pills, the next best thing is to paint one of your inner arms with iodine tincture or with betadine. Your body will absorb it through your skin and your risk of thyroid cancer is reduced. Of course, you are still screwed for bone cancer and leukemia, but what the heck.

Several leaders of countries will be in attendance in Moscow on May 9th , be a ballsy move to piss on that parade .
