I think that the military is doing better. I have seen firsthand, through my family, that the Navy is doing better.
The suicide rate for active police officers is roughly 110.5 per 100,000
The active duty military suicide rate is roughly 22 deaths per 100,000 service members.
One is too many. I know that nobody likes cops, but the numbers tell a story.

I have hear horror stories about the VA but will say seemed all the folks who worked the Brockton one cared and were on the ball.

Remarkable story.
Today North Platte is just another town along I-80 until you go into the center. The UP’s marshaling yard is worth seeing. Acres of railroad tracks with rail cars and locomotives being sorted.
Smarter Half and I were in North Platte back in ’18. I toured the Golden Spike Tower at the UP’s marshaling yard. I’ve public photo album on my FB page if any of you want to see it. “J.M. Smith”
