Clowns… again…

Welp, apparently the WNBA beclowned themselves once again on Tuesday…

The Fever said arena security interviewed the fan and witnesses and found no violation of the WNBA Fan Code of Conduct.

“Following a report of a comment directed toward a player, arena security spoke with the fan involved and witnesses,” the team said. “Security determined there was no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct, the fan was not removed from the arena. We consider the matter closed.”

The man was escorted away from his seat temporarily but was later allowed to return.

Freedom argued Wilson should have been ejected under Rule 12A, Section V of the WNBA rulebook, which says any player, coach, trainer or other team bench member who deliberately enters the spectator stands during a game will be automatically ejected. The rule also defines the first row of seats as the beginning of the stands. Wilson instead received only a technical foul.

I ‘guess’ if you’re a black ‘star’, and get ‘disrespected’ (so she said) the rules don’t apply to you…

Shocking, isn’t it?

Apparently Wilson is ‘known’ to be a rough player, depending on her strength and ‘star power’ to avoid being called out for her play.

I flipped on ESPN and watched a few minutes of a game last night, Dallas vs. somebody, and saw a LOT of carrying the ball, a lot of fouls, and nothing being called…

Did a little more digging, apparently the ‘fan’ who ‘dissed’ Wilson was male, and did nothing more than point at her and say something about her gross foul. But I guess being male and pointing was enough to set her off…

Glad I’m not wasting my time with that hot mess. I have better things to do than watch a bunch of… oh never mind…

Back to writing…

  1. Huh, ‘mysteriously’ this post didn’t go up on time… And it’s interesting to watch the MSM come out with support for Wilson and all the ‘good’ things she’s done…

  2. So there is a “Fan Code of Conduct” if you go to a WNBA game, Whoda thunk it? Also, a player violates the rules, and it’s the fan that gets pulled aside for questioning. Strange game this WNBA.
