The empty suit left the chair empty when he had a chance to actually step up and show solidarity with numerous world leaders…
Among other leaders King Abdullah II of Jordan, a direct descendant of Mohammad, marching with the forty thousand in Paris!!!
Obviously the administration does not Je Suis Charlie…

And the ijits say it was a security consideration. I call it a lack of guts. If Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Abbas and King Abdullah II (all of them potential security hazards) can stand side by side and march… our Secret Service has had problems, granted — but can it be that much worse than Mossad?

i saw a photo of this “march” – apparently they didn’t actually march. they set up a photo op with maybe 200 people arranged in such a way as to make it seem like there were thousands of people in attendance.

The number of security people lining the march from every nation represented by heads of state would have to outnumber the crowd if they had actually marched. Of course it was a photo op, but it sent a message without the US…and it would have sent another message with the US.
It is possible that the teleprompter was broken? We know that O can’t go without that.
Photo op or not. Doesn’t matter. The true leaders of the world were there. And Mr.O was off somewhere talking about Community colleges or something like that.

Europe wanted Obama to be President more than anything else in the world. They should savor their victory.
It seems the Pretender-in-Chief was watching football. It was inconsiderate of the French to schedule the photo op during the finals, don’tcha think?
I believe there are two valid reasons he did not go to Paris for the rally. Well, three if you include the football game that desperately needed his full time attention. 1. He didn’t know about it because he didn’t read about it in some liberal rag, like the New Your Times of the Washington Post. And, 2. It would not have been a campaign fund raiser, at out expense, for some Dumbocrat dog catcher in some obscure county in Nevada (Dirty Harry Reid’s home state), unless, of course the fund raiser would be for some Islamist radical group of nut ball butchers.
On the other hand, if he did go he would have found some way to embarrass us. We lose either way…

A) It was deliberate, and since he is a sociopath he didn’t relate to the emotions it would cause. And B) he needed to rest up from his vacation.

Yeah. I was embarrassed for our country because it reflects on me as a citizen. The only good thing we can do for the people of France is let them know we did not agree with Obama’s no show and get it into the press and social media.
I’ve been too embarrassed already by Jimmy Freaking Carter when I was tramping around The Continent (now the Incontinent?) drinking pints of Guinness to *now* be embarrassed by this Obama-lama-ding-dong. The Euros can go take a f*ng seat in a wet pissoir.
He’s our Nobel Peace-Prizer, Livin’ The Life as a jet-set Citizen-o’da-World with his fine wife and daughters basking in his radiant glory and swell golf-game, and nothing much makes a difference to him outside his own splendor.
Besides, France really did bring this onto themselves by setting up the No-Cop “Sensitive” Zones/Suburbs where they stuffed all the low-wage immigrant population that is 99% Islamic, and where Shari Law supersedes French 3rd Empire Law or whatever Napoleonic Code thing they have going.
And being paid-off and also insulated from The Law and Responsibility, and fed by nearly 100% Welfare-Everything the Zones became incubators for violence and Jihad – much like Detroit and Dearborn Michigan, and Berkeley/Oakland and other Socialist Parasite-Cities in the US who’s occupants are clothed and fed from the wages and taxes of working people, and who are taught by a deranged Edu Establishment to despise the people who clothe and feed them and do the actual work so that they get EBT cards.
In the last 6 years as president, Obama has been missing in America also
