The Aussies don’t take them selves seriously, or at least not as badly as most American commercials!

  2. The Australian Hilux commercials have always been a hoot. Don’t know how many Toyotas get sold because of them, but the ads are instant classics.

    P.S.
    I have three Toyotas, all paid off, and wouldn’t exchange them. I have an 07 RAV-4 Limited V6 4WD for the mountains (chipped up to 290 hp), which runs like a scalded dog — ultimate Q-Ship.

    I have an 07 Tacoma 4WD the wife drives;

    I have an 08 Corolla which is lighter and gets better mileage than the new body style 09+ Corollas. My best in the Corolla is 42 mpg. Not damned bad for a stupid 4-speed auto.

    And NONE of them have throttle problems, because the DRIVER doesn’t have throttle problems. Unlike some incompetents, I KNOW the difference between the throttle and brake pedals.
