For those who appreciate motocycles, this from a 1935 Police demonstration!!!
Those old boys ‘knew’ what they were doing!
My dad rode with the El Karubah Shrine Temple motorcycle patrol back in the 1940s-50s and they did some of the same maneuvers… Except they were doing them on the big Harley Ultra Glides! And I remember them talking about 30 ‘motors’ being the standard parade unit. Sadly, I can’t find any pics of them, but I did find this pic of a few Shriners with their bikes. The motto then, as now, is “We ride so that others may walk.”
Y’all have a good day, ya hear….
I love the precision with which they maneuver those bikes – ain’t as easy as it looks.
Sheesh! We used to be happy if we could all stay in step at a change of command parade.
We were seldom happy.
Ooooo – so much more impressive on big bikes than in mini-cars. No, really, impressive.

What I find interesting is that the video you posted is of Italian fascists and the link I posted is of an American proto-fascist organization.
What are we to think of Shriners? 🙂
Rev- VERY true!
WSSF- Yeah, ain’t THAT the truth… sigh
Anne- That they are
Ed- I was posting it because I thought the precision was interesting, and I couldn’t find any other videos. Your point is well taken, but I’ll say for the Shrine (and Masonry in general), they DO contribute significant $$ to caring for those who can’t… Shrine Hospitals, both the burn and crippled childrens, take NO state or Federal $$, and entry is denied to no one… The ONLY requirement is that one can be helped.
NFO! I was joking! Sorry!
I know it was merely a co-incidence.
Amazing
Enjoyed the video and Hope you have a Great Week 🙂
that is so very cool!
