Happy Turkey Day!!!

May you enjoy the day with family or friends as you can, eat plenty of turkey and then nap in front of the football game… 🙂

But take a moment to remember our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines that are serving throughout the world.

Signs you ‘might’ be overdoing Thanksgiving…

* Paramedics bring in the Jaws of Life to pry you out of the EZ-Boy!

* The “Gravy Boat” your wife set out was a real 12′ boat!

* You receive a Sumo Wrestler application in your e-mail

* Friday you set off 3 earthquake seismographs on your morning jog.

* Pricking your finger for cholesterol screening only yielded gravy.

* A guest quotes a Biblical passage from “The Feeding of the 5000.”

* That rash on your stomach turns out to be steering wheel burn.

* Representatives from the Butterball Hall of Fame called twice.

* You consider gluttony your patriotic duty.

Y’all have a good one!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours NFO and all y’all that are smart enough to read this blog.

  2. Wow. Just did the math, and I remember that for the first 5 years of my Naval Career, my Turkey Dinner came from the Chow Hall or the Mess Deck.

So from one who’s been there; To all the Men and Women of the U.S. Military eating their Turkey in the Chow Hall today, and all the Vets getting theirs in the VA Hospital, THANK YOU!

And may you eat Dinner next year at Home.

  3. Enjoy your day and that pretty much descries my Thanksgiving. And, as usual, prayers and good vibes are out for the troops, airmen and sailors across the globe. Their sacrifice of being away from family makes it safe for us to enjoy ours.

  4. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. May you be surrounded by love, good friends, and may the day be better than you hope.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving old man.

Hope you found a spot to settle down and relax for the day.

    Ha Ha. Steering wheel burn…

  6. I’m here from Coffeypot, where men are men and women are afterthoughts. My Stud retired after 36 years as a firefighter. We never, ever, pass a serviceman on the street without shaking his hand.

  7. Happy Thanksgiving to you sir.

Enjoy your alotted ration of spirts.
