At least this time they DIDN’T get the wheels… Apparently I’m the ONLY one out of at least 12 reported so far than didn’t lose all four. One guy a block over lost two, everybody else lost all four plus electronics.
Targeted specifically high end GM/GMC/Caddy SUVs this time. Apparently they also hit a local hotel…
Time to put up a game camera and go hunting…

That pisses me off. I hate, hate thieves. I just got hit myself. Some douche canoe got my bank card info and went on a shopping spree in Ohio and West Virginia. Luckily they caught it an notified me pretty quick but now I have to order a new care and dispute a bunch of fraudulent charges.
Damn. You know, driving an old rusty minivan isn’t that bad a deal sometimes.
Hope they get caught. Smash and grabs like this are so destructive. And getting your glass fixed in the cold part of the year must be fun.

Think about it, the underprivileged drug addict who smashed and stole was likely (1) not breast fed as a child (2) did not receive enough money from the government to support his ever increasing narcotics habit and (3) understood clearly that rich people (like you) are the target of liberal aggression, thus you were an appropriate target of opportunity. He simply collected a personal tax on you and on your insurance company.

How about that anti shatter film on the inside of the glass. They can still break the glass but the film makes it hold together so none of the glass actually falls. It would make it a bit harder for them to get in and it would give you a few more seconds of response time from the alarm.
Also try the electrified door handles, that activate once the alarm goes off. Those are big in Mexico as I understand.
drjim- Looking at game cameras, a LOT cheaper… High end alarms run $1000+ and are NOT recommended for vehicles that are used off road…
