  1. The only way I’ll ever be able to attend an NRA convention is if/when they have one here in Anchorage. After all, we’ve got that brand new convention center & everything …

  2. I’ll be there! Something I’ve wanted to do for years and now that I’m (semi) retired can actually do.

  3. I should be there. Friday afternoon. I’m only 3 hours south. I just need to figure out how to pay for the hotel for my daughter and I. I need her to drive or I won’t be able to function well.

  4. Rev- Understood, if there is anything you want me to look at, let me know!

    TOTW- Looking forward to seeing you!

    Opus- LOTS of walking!!! 🙂

    Mark- Drop me an email when you figure out where you’re staying.

    Keads- Hopefully!

    JR- Heard that…

  5. Check yer eMail, Sir!! 😉

    Depending on where folks are staying, it might behoove to utilize the Park & Rides – also, there’s a GREAT grocery store within walking distance of the GRB, lots of European “stuff”, to stash in the room fridges 😉 There’s also Tactical Firearms in Katy {comparatively short drive} where one can rent & test fire just about ANYTHING they have for sale {NICE indoor range, too – I qual’d for my CHL there}

    STILL waiting on the NRA to get back with me on credentialing 🙁

    Semper Fi’, Y’all {Old NFO has my contact info}

  6. Alas, I’d hoped to go but it’s not to be this year. My wife and had a great time last year in St. Louis. But…life intervened this year and we’ll not be able to go. I hope next year the meeting is a bit closer to KC.
