Oh HELL no…

Anybody in VA better pay attention to the upcoming governors election…

Terry McAuliffe (D) has this up on his website now-

Support common sense gun control measures

As Governor, Terry will support mainstream and majority supported gun control measures like universal background checks, limiting the size of magazines, and a return to the 1-gun-per-month rule. These measures respect Virginians’ right to bear arms while reducing gun violence.

If THIS doesn’t worry you,  I don’t know what to say…

He’s a hardcore liberal, sleazebag and I wouldn’t trust him any further than I could throw him.

  1. Hey OldNFO;

The bad thing is that there are a lot of lowinformationvoters in the DC area and they might pull the state more blue. I truly hope I am wrong and that Terry’s opponent makes political mileage out of it and stays away from any “reproductive” issues. Then he should do well.

  2. Two sorry ass choices. Gun rights is about the only thing “cuch” has going for himself. I may just vote Libertarian !!

  3. McAuliffe would be the ideal governor for the State of New York…their values coincide.

  4. Bob- Agreed! It’s a nasty race now, and only getting worse…

    Woody- You’re right!

    Alan- Sadly true!

    LL- Yep, that they do.

  5. Nothing against voting for a libertarian, but you might as well pull the lever for the carpetbagger and kiss your 2nd Amendment right away and have even higher taxes in VA. Tell me what candidate is the perfect candidate? Haven’t seen one in my 30+ years of voting. Cooch, isn’t perfect, because no human is perfect. Will he mess with the 2nd Amendment, nope. Carpetbagger will screwup VA so fast, it will make your head spin.

  6. “liberal, sleazebag” No need for comma. And those words are synonyms for each other.

  7. My Liberal friends (Ya, I’ve a few. They’re fun to watch.) say voting for McAuliffe is “vital to protect our right to abortion.”
I ask “So you’re willing to sacrifice an enumerated right for a nebulous one?”
This, of course, caused confusion. Once I explained what “enumerated” meant and that “nebulous” was NOT a palestinian refugee camp they still seemed willing to vote for a carpetbagging Clinton hack.
A telephone pollster asked “Will you support McAuliffe?” I said “Only the one that said “Nuts!”
    “So that’s a yes?”
LOW INFORMATION VOTER doesn’t come close to the mouth-breathing electorate the public “education” system has inflicted upon our country. May God protect us in the coming storm.

  8. Unless the libertarian candidate drops out, McAuliff is going to win.

As long as the legislature stays in the hands of the Republicans, it’s not that big a deal. If the dems take over everything in Richmond, it will be time to start looking for employment in other states.
