  1. Didn’t know 16, couldn’t remember 20 until I saw the answer.

  2. Got them all.
Dammit… at 67, who would want to ONLY be “as smart as the average sixty year old”???

  3. Missed one, still on my first cuppa.

Did get to see a set of Burma Shave signs once though. That was a long time ago!
    I’m 54.

  4. I missed 3 & 20. Those of us that passed, does that mean we watched too much TV?

  5. I’m 20 for 20. And while I did get the “Beetle” or “Bug” thing for the Volkswagen (No. 12), I remember it as the “Schweinhund.”

  6. Like Stingray I also knew of Richy Valens and JP “The Big Bopper” Richardson.
As for LS/MFT? Lets Stand/My Fanny’s Tired. Learned that from my mother.

  7. Missed two. Not quite as old, but getting there 🙂

  8. Juvat/WSF- Yeah… sigh…

    Rev- Sure…sure… 🙂

PH- That’s because you never smoked!

    ADM- Feel for ya…

Stingray/Stretch- True, and you also missed it because you don’t smoke (and you’re a LOT younger)!

    CP/Brighid- LOL

Craig- You’re catching up with us!

    Momma- That means… er… I’m not sure!

Phil- Ah yes, Burma Shave signs… Another memory lost on the young!

    CM- You’re not THAT old!

Extexan- Yep, all three channels of it!!!

Expat- OH, yep that WAS the correct name! Good one!

    Sarge- Yep, getting up there!

  9. ONE wrong….”Freddy the Freeloader” I could picture him in my mind, but the name was a blank.

Must be a sign of OLD AGE!

  10. Heck, I got 10.5 and I’m not even 30 … I’m not sure how I feel about that!

  11. I missed two of them but credit it to CRS. Missed three, but I’m nearly 51 so I guess my mind is older than I really am, lol.

  12. drjim- LOL, suffering from CRS are we???

    Ed- LOL

Rick- Heh, I AM older than dirt…

CF- Old mind, what can I say! 🙂

  13. Couldn’t remember Freddy, and there wasn’t quite enough context around the Lucky Strikes…but got the rest, and knew those two once I saw the answers.

  15. After extensive research it has come to my old farta attention that the correct feminine plural is fartes.
Thanks Jim, old Farta learns something new here every day, regards, Dammit.

  16. I always thought that LS/MFT meant Loose Sweaters/ Mean Floppy Tits… Yeah, I know it’s juvenile, but then I was- half a century ago!

  17. Dirk- If you ever get the chance, watch an episode of Red Skelton…

Mikael- The sad part is, that is how ‘wide’ some of this stuff gets broadcast! 😉

  18. I suppose it’s a little picky but I thought the Red Skelton ending was “Good night and MAY God bless”. Three words, not two.
