Another video… Sorry…

Off spending time with family, but this one is funny as hell…

A 850 H.P. John Deere diesel vs. a steam tractor rated 18 H.P?

Lets just say it’s ALL about torque and traction…  enjoy 🙂

Nothing like getting your ass handed to you by an antique, run by an old antique in his gimme cap, and knowing he’s laughing his ass off at you… 🙂

  1. Funny! We have any number of steam powered gatherings throughout the summer around here. Some pretty amazing chunks of gear there . . . and more power than you can imagine!

Nice fine. Enjoy the family time Jim!

  2. The John Deere is awesome — but not nearly awesome enough. Great video! Thanks.

  3. Best laugh of the morning. Those old steam tractors are awe inspiring. That one in particular made short work of the new kid.

  4. Art- Thanks!

    Bill- Yep, MASSIVE torque… 🙂

    LL- You’re welcome.

PR- You’re welcome, and yes he did…

    Opus- 🙂 Yep…

    Rick- 😀

  5. I’ve seen something similar, but it was an old 2 cylinder soybean oil burner against a modern diesel. The little soybean burner tractor had wheels, not tires, but wheel that were almost 3 feet wide and about 5 feet tall versus a Dodge Ram 3500 with a Cummins Turbo.

I about laughed myself silly, especially after hearing the guy who owned the Dodge was talking smack about his truck. 🙂
