Do you know how big a mess it is when 12 cups of water goes everywhere???
At least the counter is now clean, the floor is clean, and I’m outta paper towels…

Dude, IT’S COFFEE. Lick it up. Don’t let that elixir of the Gods end up in the trashcan.

Rick- It IS a new one (Cusinart), that actually brews a decent cup, but it doesn’t have a sight window on the front.

I’ve never done that, no, no, I haven’t…Oh, OK, yes I have. More than once.
I fix Mr B’s coffee for the morning. What’s almost worse than double-water is no water at all. It’s kind of funny to watch him push the button a couple of times, look quizzically at his empty cup and push the button again. Since coffee is definitely his wakeup mechanism, processing that there is no water sometimes takes a while…..
Been there, done that, used the T shirt to mop up the mess.
Dude.. my mishaps are monumental. We have one of those pots that lets you poor a cup while brewing… well friday morning I did not have the pot in correctly and the coffee was not flowing into the pot. When i looked to see the problem all the coffee was overflowing from the basket. What a mess!
Then there is the time I thought I could use shampoo in my dishwasher…. but that story is for another time
I could do an entire post on my kitchen mishaps…. Happy New Year!
I know this guy (not me, y’see, no, not me, nope) that put the coffee grounds into the water reservoir and the water into the filter cup. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get those grounds out of the water valve at the bottom of the machine?
