Going to be on the road for the next few days, so don’t expect much in the way of comments and/or posts…

  2. Retirement has given me time to ponder the eternal question of “what do I want to be when I grow up?”
    I still do not have an answer probably because I have no plans to “grow up.”
    Be careful out there on the roads.

    I did the retirement route last Feb.
    Was “retired” for 3 days.
    Changed hats, still working for the same customers.
    Moved a bit North. Now I come home every night instead of on weekends.
    My “retirement” party was lunch as a BBQ place.
    Seems your former employer thought more about you than mine did. Maybe that’s why I’m retired?

    Hey, how do you feel about never having to commute again? About waking up when you damn well feel like it, and having whatever you want in your coffee?

    No more meetings! No more powerpoint! No more requisitions and badly organized road trips!

    And if you want to, you can not just ignore, but entirely turn off your phone.
