Color me…

Cynical…

But I can’t help but wonder if the whole transgender thingie is nothing more than a red herring…

What ELSE is out there that the administration is trying to keep us from seeing? Is it the true depth of the trouble Hildabeast is in? Why have we seen NO coverage of any of the questioning of her staff?

Is it the Iran deal? One that they’ve basically admitted is a sham?

Is it the economy?

We know the military is in the toilet, and that occasionally gets into the MSM…

Facebook’s ‘trending’, and what else is the book of face lying about???

Is it labor, e.g. the number of folks out of work?

Is it murder rates in the democratic cities??? We know they are much higher than last year…

Is it the fact that Trump is actually gaining ground on Hillary and might win?

Is it the imminent collapse of Venezuela?

Is it the fact that the administration is determined to bring more muslim refugees to the USA, while ignoring the Christian refugees???

I don’t have a clue, but the hair on the back of my neck is starting to stand up. I feel ‘something’ is going on that we’re missing…

Truth

Any ideas???

  1. It is a possibility. Its hard to believe that a government administration would choose to die on that hill, especially this close to the end of the Obama administration. Venezuela economy collapsing and after effects – will oil price skyrocket (I understand quite a bit of Valero oil is from this source).

Sure isn’t all sunshine, unicorns and rainbows.

  2. It’s part of the progressive agenda to break down religion and our moral society. If you can be convinced that your beliefs are wrong then they will will be able to mold your thinking into their world view. They do this by shaming and name calling. If you want secure borders, you are racist. If you want separate bathrooms, you are intolerant and sexist. If serving gays is against your religion, your religion is wrong. Or, as one of the characters in “Generation Kill” said, it’s a plot by NAMBLA.

  3. Thats the same question I have asked since the bathroom bs first broke . What is the ” other hand ” doing ??

  4. Of course you may be correct in any of those, singularly or in combination. Just as course, it is well to be cynical of gov especially this admin.

I think the issue at hand is another peg of creating class warfare, it’s straight out of the commie playbook.

  5. I’d suggest it’s all of your points, NFO, and the points in the comments, and as you mentioned, some that we don’t know yet, but I think we will know these before years end.

  6. It is more of a full-court press with less than 2 minutes left to play. Barry is doing as much as he can to complete his transformation of America while he can and the media is being as complicit as they can. And of course, distraction works for even democRATS who might see just how poorly Hildabeast is really doing vs. The Donald.

  7. I think the answer to your question is Yes to all of the above. I think it is also the world wide economy…even though it doesn’t get much play on MSM, news does leak through on cable channels, as well as on the internet. Everyone does go to the grocery store and the gas station on a semi-regular basis and costs are going up. But mostly I think, folks have been fooled too many times over the past 7+ years, and they are tired of it. I think you will see a lot more unrest/unease come July through October when the time comes to renew health insurance…those costs continue to jump.
Even the sheeple know something is not quite right…
Someone cursed us to live in interesting times…me, I’m missing dull, boring and routine right about now. I’m tired of everything being a crisis, of everyone’s feelings being hurt. No one ever promised any of us life would be fair, and we would all be happy…just the pursuit of happiness.
I need another cup of tea so I’m not so grumpy…
    Suz

  8. It’s a coverup to distract us from real issues. I am sure she will never be prosecuted or even suffer any consequences. Immunity. That’s what they give her. No matter how evil she is or what she has done…no one will punish her. BTW…what color is cynical?

  9. “What ELSE is out there that the administration is trying to keep us from seeing?”

All of the above… plus ???

  10. It’s just like the old days when we had a Republican president, and the news was filled with articles about the economy, homelessness, war dead and every other sort of social ill that could be laid at his feet. Then as soon as a Dem elected–Clinton and Obama–all of those issues went away overnight. The media IS powerful, especially when they work in concert, and they have picked sides politically.

  11. Let’s send them Bernie Sanders and his minions to fix their economy. What could go wrong?

  12. I’m with Grog and Murhpy’s Law. Distraction and/or false flag.

  13. Jim; I believe that all of the above is the correct answer.
This administration uses many different methods to misdirect or redirect the public’s attention from all of the failure coming from washington.
Now, a small comment about Bernie. I have long suspected that the dimocrat party put Bernie up to running against ole hil.
No-one else would even try, but they had to have at least a token opponent. The dimocrat party’s dismay when Bernie began challenging the hildebeast has been epic!

  14. Is fixating the commercial news media on something so completely trivial as being done deliberately, and if so by who?

Yes, it’s being done deliberately. It’s being done by the tiny fraction of one percent of the population that owns the commercial news media. It’s done this way because the average man, his below average brother-in-law and his retarded cousin have an attention span of around fifteen seconds, collectively. If sex or food is involved, then it rises to thirty seconds.

As for what the mindless news is hiding, the real answer is: not much. Now think for a minute. Anyone reading your blog or my contribution to this discussion is reading. They aren’t watching a ten second video purporting to explain why a global recession is immanent. They read. Their comprehension of this incredible drivel likely hovers around 90% if they’re both sober and careful. Even if they’re half in the bag, the comprehension factor is going to be pretty high.

In short, neither you nor your audience qualifies as average, or would even relate well to the average man. If you need more proof, watch 40 minutes of mainstream, prime time television, including commercials, then ask yourself what kind of mind would watch this and find it entertaining and informative. Have a drink.

Now pick up a copy of The Economist and plough through an article or three. Note that while you’re reading you’re learning, arguing for or against, and are engaged. See how you feel afterward your reading experience. Do you lack that nervous, overly stimulated feeling you got from the TV set? Again, you’re not average.

My point is that even if commercial news media were to cover something on the order of Saudi Arabia’s oil policy and the ramifications of this policy, then provide background material for someone not familiar with the global market on petroleum, the segment would likely be a solid 30 minutes, maybe more, and would appeal to you and your readers – not the average man, who wants the latest rerun of a popular sitcom. He wants to watch something, anything, not having to do with countries he didn’t know existed and concepts he neither understands nor cares about.

It takes effort to stay informed. Hillary had a recent scandal about national security and an email server. How many people reading that headline have any idea at all about just what an email server is, what it looks like, and how it works? But ironically scream ‘Free Education’ loudly enough and long enough, and people will vote for you. And they won’t have the faintest idea why they shouldn’t.

    Free education.

    I’m late for happy hour.

    • Indeed.

“Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it.”

      —George Bernard Shaw

    • cannot take 40 minutes.
recently in rehab and finally turned on tv, being stuck in bed and nowhere to go.’
haven’t watched tv for a couple of years. didn’t think it could get any worse.
it is terrible, though i suppose it could sink to worse depths.
only God can help us, but i don’t think the average american will unglue his eyes from the train wreck that is tv long enough to ask God for mercy.
they are not living in reality, they live in tv land and it is a tremendous soporific.

  15. Mad Jack you are right on target. I try to get folks I am friends with, to try and explain to me in their own words why a 20 Trillion dollar debt is a good thing. They can’t, and when I tell them that the more dollar bills that are printed, the less that piece of paper is “worth”.
The education system in this country has dumbed them down to an almost unbelievable level of uncaring, lasse faire (SP),”I am to busy with my phone” to worry about this stuff!
I am so bummed by what is ahead for my 45 to 55 year old children and more especially their kids. We are headed right back to where we were in the 15-1600’s! And the standard of living is going to be commiserate with those times!

    • You sound like my kinda people, Everett. I wish we all lived closer together and could meet for a drink once in a while. It does my heart good to associate with regular folks every so often.

  16. Cynical here as well… and disappointed that we don’t appear to come up with workable solutions to our problems.
Who does it help if we are right, but spend our energy standing on our chairs yelling at each other about how right we are…

  17. All you have to do to establish the decline in thinking skills is to buy an old Life, Look, or Saturday Evening Post from the mid 1930’s to about 1975. Spend 5 bucks, read it, and weep for the level of education we have lost. These were the most mainstream of magazines, walls of text, charts, essays, editorials. One I had from the early 1970’s had seven close spaced pages of text and charts going into detail on the deficit and national debt and budget. The pages were 11″x17″…I am quite certain it would be incomprehensible to at least half the country today.

  18. I read somewhere that the hot money is on Michelle Obama to reveal a transgender operation in the past.

  19. Cynical as well. Seems no one has read the NC law.. Part two is the tail behind the dog. If we ignore the first part as it really affects so few then why part two… because it effects everyone in the state. The whole package is less about why does numbers 1 and 2 than who can sue if their boss is treating them like crap and that’s the other 99.9% getting raw deal. But hey they don’t read and they are all happy and well stupid.

Only a few are looking at that and going OH CRAP!

    Eck!

  20. All- Thank you for all the comments, and I think Mad Jack nails it.

    Posted from my iPhone.

  21. Disturbed deputy brings up a good point here.

    https://disturbeddeputy.wordpress.com/2016/05/17/following-in-swedens-footsteps/

If the “transgender” issue is being used as a distraction so any future sick acts like this will be explained or dismissed, that makes sense when considering the fact that obozo has been increased his rhetoric over the last year that moozlims shouldn’t be insulted.

And I don’t want to appear as dismissing any of the comments before, just wanted to share a parallel thought from DD.

  22. I’m wondering if it’s not something, not simpler, but more up front: if OBO can cause enough of a backlash, maybe he can justify instituting Martial Law and suspending the election. I hope I’m wrong.

    • Anything’s possible, Merlin, and there are a lot of people that want you to be wrong. The fly in the ointment, if you’ll allow the expression, is that obozo, the “power brokers” in deecee, and a lot of people affiliated with them, don’t give a rat’s ass what we want.

So, as oft said over at WRSA and other blogs, “there’s going to be a fight. Let’s win.”
