Meh…

All I can say about last night is that is two hours of my life I’ll never get back…

I’d call it a draw to a slight win for Hillary.

On the bright side, nobody shot the TV! 🙂

It will be interesting to read the papers this morning and see who spins what in which direction…

  1. Same I saw here. Both sides will claim they won of course. Trump for not losing his temper, Clinton for not falling down or going into spasms. Pretty much a ‘meh’ event.

  2. Yeah, I would agree. She had enough make-up troweled on to plaster a wall, but she looked alert and got her talking points out there. He didn’t tee off on her temper-wise, although I’m sure he did after.

Now the talking heads will spend all week telling us what we saw and should think.

    Isn’t it November yet??

  3. It ‘ll take the press weenies several days to figure out what happened, which wasn’t much. Still, it’ll take them several days to figure it out.

My big plan for the day includes going to the barber shop for my autumn trim.

  4. One is clearly worse than the other but the thought that one of those two asshole will be our next president makes me weep for my country. Hilary will not be held in check by her party or the press. Trump will have the blessing of a Republican party that will gleefully stab anyone (especially him) in the back and a press that will not let him get away with anything including doing his actual job. My only hope rides on Supreme Court picks and a good clothespin for election day.

  5. Sorry you felt the need to waste your time.
Trump could have brought The Second Coming and the media would report about his comb-over and his negative demeanor.

  6. And we, the Deplorables, will wait a little over a long, long month to vote for the least Detestable. What a way to pick what used to be the leader of the free world, glad I am old.

  7. The fix was in with no Behghazi question, or the email-server, or the Muslim/Saudi $$ angle and goign from flat-broke to multi-millionaire in just months – and a lost opportunity for Trump to counter when she talked about “cybersecurity” as if she knew the slightest thing about it. I saw an opening for introducing the utterly feckless and insecure bathroom server in that window…

  8. Wife & daughter watched the debate; I stayed in another room & played computer games. Unfortunately, I was still within earshot.

This all reminds me why I used to drink.

  9. I (against my better judgement) watched bits and pieces of the debate.
    Best part:
    “You’ve had 30 years to fix it…”

  11. Didn’t watch it, was working, my suspicion that I wasn’t going to miss anything important turned out to be correct.

  12. I watched Hillary doing her routine and she is the devil incarnate.
I support Trump because he comes closer to my political beliefs.
I have been told that I am to the RIGHT of Atilla The Hun.

  13. I did not watch. Cleaned and lubed my Garand and M1A. Again.

  14. I also saw it as a draw. The media are slobbering over Hillary like she was the Second Coming (right after Obama). The blogosphere is slobbering about how great Trump was. The only thing the debate was, was a wasted two hours.
