Dept of the Interior designate….

Below you ‘ll find the NRA’s statement on Secretary Designate Zinke, who has been chosen to head the Department of the Interior under the Trump administration. Zinke is a retired SEAL, so he ‘does’ have an affinity for the outdoors and for shooting. 🙂

Considering what’s been going on with funding for new ranges, I’m liking his selection!

NRA Statement on Nomination of Ryan Zinke to Secretary of the Interior

Fairfax, Va.— Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, issued the following statement on the nomination of Congressman Ryan Zinke to be the Secretary of the Interior:“On behalf of our 5 million members, we commend President-Elect Donald Trump for nominating Congressman Ryan Zinke of Montana to be our next Secretary of the Interior,” said Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action. “The sportsmen and women of this nation have long waited for an Interior Secretary who understands the need to preserve America’s outdoor heritage for generations to come. Ryan Zinke will champion those traditions with the devotion of a true outdoorsman while serving as our next Secretary of the Interior.”

  1. Ryan will cause still more heads to explode as common sense returns to the nation and I just sit back, eat popcorn, and enjoy the show.

  2. Gotta love it when the incoming boss of an agency would like to see it eliminated! Gonna need more popcorn, ain’t I?

  3. This is a great selection by Trump. At long last, Montana has gotten a Cabinet post. Zinke is from Whiteish, in the Flathead valley, a little north of Kalispell. And just about 150 miles west of my home town of Cut Bank.

  4. Common sense just might become common again! That’s what I’ve been thinking as I’ve watched Trump’s cabinet picks being announced.

There is a gas station chain here in western MI named Wesco which sells 1 quart sized buckets for popcorn. For $10 you can buy a bucket, filled, and they will refill it for free all year. No limit, as many times as you bring it back in.

I’m thinking of getting 2 of them this year…thinking they would get lots of use. 🙂

  5. This guy Trump is really annoying. He keeps picking competent people with records of achievement for cabinet posts. Why, he may even use them instead of a select group of ass kissing aides surrounding our current disaster. Poor (P)regressives. First Shillary loses. Now a leader who “get’s it done” instead of hoping for change. What is the world coming to?
