Rimworld- Militia Up is live on Kindle!

Due to changes in the way Amazon is doing the print version, that’s going to be at least a week behind the Kindle version.

I’ve roofpread it until I’m cross eyed, so any errors are on me. I don’t have a link yet, but here’s the cover!  As always, kudos to Tina for turning my bumbling attempts at artwork into a real cover!!!

Click the cover to go to the Amazon link!

The blurb-

It was supposed to be a simple contract for a couple of months of security services off world, but the devil’s in the details.

Tight Bridge Technologies hired Ethan Fargo and his militia to guard their power stations on the planet Endine against mob unrest and sabotage. When they arrive, they find the planetary authorities don’t want outsiders around to uncover their dirty secrets, and the Galactic Patrol’s not interested in providing backup. They all but order him to stop making waves, kicking asses, and taking names. The harder Fargo works to keep his people safe, the more troubles he finds. Dragoons and pirates are stalking the outer system, while the planet itself is a snakepit of treachery, tyranny, rebellion, and corruption. Everyone wants him to fail, while taking the blame.

They made one mistake: they underestimated Ethan Fargo. After the mob kills two of his Ghorkas, and kidnap his lady,  he’s out for blood, and to hell with anything in his way…

And Rimworld- Into the Green will be on sale through next week, hopefully starting on Saturday for $0.99!

Thanks for sticking by me, and I hope you enjoy the novel! As always, HONEST reviews are appreciated! And if you catch errors, feel free to email me, and I’ll get ’em corrected!

Special thanks to those Alpha and Beta readers who really helped get this ready to go to print! You know who you are!!!

  1. Hope it sells like hotcakes . . . Good luck and have a Merry Christmas!

  2. Another writer I follow stated his method of proofreading a book is to load the book into a text to speech program and listen to it. His books have had many fewer errors than before he started doing that.

  3. I’m looking forward to adding it to the OldNFO section on my bookshelves.

  4. Anticipation is said to be “delicious”, but not as good as reading the new books for the first (or fourth) time. w00t!

  5. It should be in the Kindle by the time I’m done typing this.

  6. All- Thanks! Tweell, I may try that next. At least I won’t have the headaches…

    Posted from my iPhone.

    • Yeah, you will. Because you’ll hear all the homophones and typoos and hit yourself in the forehead going, “Sheesh, how could I have missed that?” 🙂

  7. Started reading it on the train home. Christmas just started early.

  8. YEE-HAAA!!

Will purchase shortly. I enjoyed the snippets, and the entire book is always better.

  9. Ouch. Just had to add that. Fargo gets in a firefight and needs rehab. I had surgery on Wed. to correct some complications on arm bone and shoulder, and back in PT today. Recovery should be faster, without pins poking into the joint, but that made the ache pop up to pain again. Sun’s almost over the yardarm, so it’s time for beer instead of pills. Great start.

  10. Hey Old NFO;

Will download it, as soon as I can. The Artwork looks great and I keep wondering when the movie will come out 😉 and for funsies figure out who could play the characters in a movie.Gerard Butler would make a good Fargo and Capt Jace’s avatar could be you as you make your appearance like Stan Lee did.

  11. Dude, love the cover art. Congrats to Tina. Can’t wait for the dead tree to go live

  12. Thanks for the Christmas presents JL, just purchased the latest Rimworld and the last installment of the Grey Man series.

No snow in SW Michigan yet so I can still access my barn and work on stuff. When that becomes impassable will settle in with a good scotch and a book or twenty.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and yours.

  13. On this one like white on rice, love the Rimworld world.

  14. Just finished it and put a review on Amazon. Outstanding! Can’t wait for the next Grey Man.
