However, NOLA got swacked by the latest hurricane, so he has no power and no internet. He said the house is fine, the dogs are fine, and he’s using the generator to keep the fridge going. No idea when they will get services back.
So, he checked in and asked me to put up a short post to let everyone know he is okay. He said he’ll be back on the ‘air’ so to speak, when they get services back.
And he apparently has ‘stories’…LOL

The weather radar indicated NOLA got smacked, so it’s good to hear from boots-on-the-ground that the city is mostly sill there.

Was worried about him, both in his travels in Mexico and his travails in ‘Nawlins.

Zeta had plenty of power left after stomping New Orleans. She veered up and took out power lines up here north of Atlanta. Only one local fatality I know about; a big oak dropped on a guy.
We were without power for a long time. So, my gift-from-God, happily-ever-after trophy wife Vanessa, the elegant, foxy, praying black grandmother of Woodstock, GA, and I left the kids at home, and SPLIT! We voted, ate at Waffle House, then went to a bookstore.
That’s a fascinating day for seniors!
