That was a scary news-clip, prescient and accurate to a “T” Makes you wonder if the script was written eons ago and being followed and implemented flawlessly… we are in deep do do if they predicted or had fore knowledge.
That’s a little TOO on the nose. Are we sure the voiceover isn’t recent?

All- I don’t honestly know. It’s obviously cut from the 8 minutes it originally was. But I thought it was rather interesting…
I would feel fairly safe in saying that the video portion is probably truly 1950s. The audio portion, not so much. I am responding to the production values as well as the content.
Carlton- Good point. I’m half deaf, so it’s hard for me to pick stuff like that up.
Real/period pictures but likely current audio, and it may never have been 8 minutes, that is part of the fakery. In 1956 polio would have been the big bug-bear, the first vaccine had just come out and the flu was much less of a threat.
I’m not confident the title card is period either.
