Dammit…

I CANNOT believe Biden et al turned up at Dover and turned the return of the dead troops from Kabul and turned it into a photo op… Much less that Austin and the JCS and hangers on showed up. I guess it was morbid curiosity about those that they’d gotten killed. I did note that TWO families refused to participate in the public spectacle. Good for them!!!

Say what you will about Bush, but he met those flights WITHOUT the media, just like his visits to Bethesda and Walter Reed. He was not there for the PR, but to honor the dead who returned on his watch.

Never forget these names. They gave their all…

Dammit… — 23 Comments

  1. Dusty this morning … also too aware that family or friends’ children could be on this list. Bless and remember them.

  2. taps.com

For the folks nobody will be thinking of 30 days from now. Been #1 on my list for several years.

  3. And the media won’t show Resident Biden checking his watch, but it’s on the ‘net.

  4. Although an inept president, the one good thing you could count on from GWB, was that he was patriotic and cared about the troops.

  5. Heads should roll for this, but won’t, dammit.
    May they rest easy.

    • Rolling heads is so France 1789. I am a fan of stretched necks on lampposts, pock-marked blood spattered concrete walls, and lineups at the edge of long trenches with truckloads of lime. The trapdoors on gallows should be slamming open 7/24/365 until every piece of shit traitor; whether elected, appointed, or hired is GONE!

Since LIBTARDS are such a fan of “no due process” like red flag laws for example, they should meet their fate never afforded any kind of trial. Their record of actions are all that is needed. “Is that your signature on that order? Yes? The sentence is death.”

  6. These brave men were sacrificed by the Coward of the Country! The Taliban offered to give the US Military control of the city of Kabul and the airport but the Coward Biden turned it down. With proper security in and around the city this bombing could have been prevented. Biden and whoever advised him to turn down the offer must go.

  7. I’ve seen accounts of a few spontaneous memorials for these souls. Typically thirteen beers, set out for those shades.

It is bitter irony that at least some of them were not legally old enough to drink (under 21).

And Biden’s much ballyhooed drone strike may have only gotten an Afghani interpreter and his family.

But hey, no more mean tweets right?

  8. Not only did he photo-op, he Benghazi’d during the service by checking his watch. Guess he was late for a nap or something. A true leader does his job quietly.

    • Sadly, that may actually be true. From all I’ve heard, Biden was already an inept buffoon before dementia. The media’s probably editing out any footage of his drooling.

      • Thing is, he was a malicious shit when he was mentally competent.

Fuehrerine Professor Edith being a not nice, not ethical person is why he married her.

Her making the decisions now is a result of decisions he made earlier.

Furthermore, if he had ever cared about the lives of other humans, he would have known enough not to get into a position of more power when he became aware of the decline. He made a lot of decisions before the point of being entirely brain dead, of continuing to exercise power despite impaired.

The decline was concealed from public attention, it was not actually hidden from Biden or from those around him.

  9. I’m still wearing my RED Friday shirt.
RED Friday may already be something you are doing, much better than I am. I joined in with the RED Friday movement when my firstborn son’s NG unit deployed to Shindan Air Base in Afghanistan in March of 2013.

    R Remember
    E Everyone
    D Deployed

For the longest time, we just wore SOMETHING red on Friday, but over the years, I’ve been given a couple of T-shirts that spell it out. At first, the only companies making the shirts were doing it as a fundraiser to benefit the troops, their families, and veterans, but now lots of places are making shirts just because they are a profit item. My shirts come from an organization that gives to the troops. HOWEVER, the actual amount that goes for military benefits out of a shirt sale is pretty small, so I could probably have accomplished the same thing by giving $10 to one of the good-guy veteran assistance programs, and picking up a red t-shirt at Goodwill.

My son came back alive. He had a really bad day, evacuating some Afghan civilians who worked at the airbase, during an artillery attack, and as a result he’s 100% disabled and functions with a service dog, but his wife and infant son got him back. He and his wife birthed two more kids since then.
I mourn for the families of these 13, and the theft of all the choices they would have made, the contributions they would have made, the goodness they would have given us.
It’s up to us to make up for that loss, and to remind as many as we can, in whatever way is good, that young men and women have chosen to put themselves in harm’s way for our benefit.
If you find it in your heart to do so, please incorporate RED Friday into your routine, and keep it up, until they all come home.
    Peace be on your household.

  10. Ramirez cartoon hits the nail on the head with a 30-ton hammer.

  11. Please let me point something out. ALL of the Marines were out of Camp Pendleton, CA, right down the road from me. I was there on Saturday. The locals of Oceanside were laying flowers at the entrance to the base. Of the thirteen who died, four were FROM California; roughly a third of the list. For those who think there are no patriots in California, please re-read this and re-think…

I’m retired military. My nephew is a freshly minted Marine. When the list came out, I read it with some trepidation… Freedom is not free, and I know my nephew is not immune to the consequence of decisions made by cowards in high places… May God bless those who serve, and receive those who gave all, defending what we have…

  12. President Trump met every flight, even at 4 am. Any truth this flight landed at 4 am but they waited to unload until a more convenient time for the trash to gather?

    • That sounds like what Democrats/Leftist would do. It needs to be convenient for their photo ops.

  13. Vietnam Vet here and father of a Marine sgt, (now out)
Those Marines and Navy folks did not give their lives.
Their lives were taken and wasted by grossly incompetent, corrupt politicians & high ranking military officers more concerned with being “woke” and “politically correct” than protecting the men and women that they are RESPONSIBLE for.
We can cry out for accountability, we can protest the incredible incompetence. A Marine Lt. Col. did and is paying the price. The incompetent buffoons responsible will pay NO price.
Will anything happen to those responsible for this debacle?
We all know the answer. NOTHING.
