Now who is lying???

After having watched ‘most’ of the testimony today, I’m less than impressed with Austin and Milley. Gen McKenzie, however, didn’t dodge questions that I saw, and pretty much answered them directly. But to a person, they ALL said they did not recommend a troop withdrawal prior to getting the folks out.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said military advisers were “split” on whether to maintain a presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, despite testimony from top officials Tuesday who were consistent in their recommendations to keep at least 2,500 troops in the region.

Full article, HERE.

So, did Xiden actually GET the information, who communicated it? Austin? Milley? Somebody else?

The plot sickens… sigh

Now who is lying??? — 15 Comments

  1. We already know that Xiden is a liar. Now we know his press secretary, Psaki, is a liar. The entire Xiden Administration is inundated with liars. Milley has already proven he is a tool of the CCP and the other generals are subserviant to him and will do as Milley says. Not one of them stood up to him at the meeting he had when he told them that any order coming from President Trump ran through him. Cowardice runs rampant at the Pentagon and there are no true American patriots wearing stars on their shoulders.

  2. All are lying. That’s what political critters do, since they know they’re incompetent, want to line their pockets by any means, and relish the power they abuse with impunity.

  3. Biden lied.
The WSJ and BBC both carried articles about his declining advice in April and May respectively.

  4. Doesn’t matter if the info made it Biden or not. He’s DEMENTED. He is incapable of making rational decisions…and didn’t make this one. One of his handlers made this decision but won’t admit to it. ALL the decisions, edicts and mandates coming from the White House are coming from some UNELECTED moron holding Pedo Joe’s puppet strings.

  5. All- Good points. And no disagreement. At least Gen McKenzie (Marine) stepped up again today. What I really found interesting is that I didn’t hear ANY questions about why there was no cooperation boots on the ground with the Brits, French, or Italians.

  6. Paraphrasing:
    “I don’t recall.”
    The “Hillary defense”.
I suspect ALL are telling the truth.
    And THAT…is scary as Hell.

  7. The lying and rank hypocrisy coming out of the white house, the pentagon, house of representatives, the senate and sadly, the supreme court, and all the other departments such as justice (injustice?)IRS, etc etc. is beyond staggering.
There is nothing coming from any of them that is not a lie, a repeated lie or an intentional misdirection.
NONE of them can be trusted, NONE of them can be believed. they are ALL covering their asses and pushing their own agenda.

  8. You have several groups of power, all struggling for control. This is exacerbated by Sleepy Joe’s obvious decline.

This is the military returning the favor after the regime stuck them with the bill for Afghanistan.

    • X2

      Who runs the Executive Branch:

      (a) Jo & Ho
      (b) The Obama Retreads and Black Jesus himself
      (c) The oligarchs who have their people embedded – to include the military industrial complex.
      (d) Nobody

      • (e) all of the above, and all working at cross purposes.

Seriously. You have the Progs, the Establishment, Jill Biden, Heels-Up Harris, Big Business/Tech, and the MIC, all struggling for the wheel.

Result: their precious infrastructure bills ain’t getting passed. Trump must be howling in laughter.

  9. GB- Yeah, we’ve heard THAT before…

Roger- Can’t disagree, but I DO believe McKenzie is the ‘most’ honest.

Toast/LL- If we knew that… sigh… I’d say A-D depending on the day of the week.

  10. Given their respective track records, that they are both lying is the probable answer.

  11. What I found interesting, the statements relayed that sound like Milley is trying to lay the ground work for going back in.

There are two interesting implications. One, he doesn’t fear Biden relieving him. Two, he does not appreciate what this matter has done to public willingness to trust the likes of him with the power he formally held.
