Good luck with your project sir. Replacing flooring materials has never been good to me, especially the small of my back. Ibuprofen – here I come.
Oh, modern laminates are such a joy. They look good and feel great underfoot. The cork (or whatever it is) backing does wonders.

Floors like these aren’t complicated to install if you have an eye for detail. The process is a bit hard on old knees and backs though. The issue is the joints tend to spread open over time if the underlayment is slipper in any way.
Yup, same comment as all the others. Hope you aren’t too stiff and sore after this.

Looks excellent, but a random thought occurs, it might be better to run the seams crossways to the other flooring. Although seeing how you have already started, I should probably not mention that. 🙂
