Two years ago when the Brits got their P-8 ASW airplanes, this showed up on the side of one…

Not saying there were ‘miscreant E-4s’ involved but…

  1. E-4 miscreants? I resembled that remark! But then again, we always did have more fun. 🙂

  2. Hey Old NFO;

    E-4 mafia….It is never discussed outside the family….LOL. I really like the P-8 name….really good, LOL

  3. Francis- Those are hilarious!

    CP/NRW- LOL

    Navy- Of course…

    Bob- LOL, yeah, the Brits did good!

  4. In 78-81 when I was on the Rock I remember it being DaBus.

    One fare could take you from Ala Moana mall all the way around the island and back to the mall. It is about 70 miles so it took time but lots of good views.

    My submarine was drydocked at Pearl Harbor Navy Shipyard for a refit and I started talking to one of the workers, guy was about 50. Born and raised in Honolulu. Worked at Pearl Harbor. Claimed he had never been to Kaneohe or the Windward side. Just mind blowing for a crew that had just changed home port from New London, CT.

  5. Rick- I can believe that. Obviously HIS family was from windward only!

    WSF- True!

    Ed/LSP- 🙂

  6. Hah. Now for a squadron pair under the call signs Wallace and Grommit. 🙂

  7. TheBus might be a silly name, but on our annniversary trip TheBus got us around Honolulu MUCH cheaper than a rental car! (Not faster, but WAY cheaper, I think it was $70 each for a month all you want pass (in Cash only)) How long can you rent a car these days for $140???
