La reine est mort…

Vive le roi!

She and her prince are reunited now.

She was the last remaining bastion of the 20th century, and her legacy will be one of service to her people above self.

May she rest in peace, she deserves it!

  1. I regularly blow off the state and fed mandates for flag etiquette (they pull the flag down for every stupid politician and non-crisis), but I’ll make an exception for her. Half mast it is for the next 10 days.

    RIP ma’am, you’ve earned it.

    Ave Atque Vale

  2. I was looking forward to hear about her celebrating her 100th birthday.
Sad that she did not make it.
    Good graces to her.

  3. Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was one classy lady. Elizabeth II Regina was, unfortunately, a terrible monarch. Her empire has dissolved, her country is failing, her people are besieged, her church is a disaster. And she allowed it all to happen on her watch.

It didn’t have to be like this.

    • Clearly McChuck has no understanding of how a constitutional monarchy works.

She reigned, not ruled. She had no power to change any of those things, all of which were controlled by parliament and overseen by successive Prime Ministers.

Your assessment of the decline is correct, but you have no idea where the blame truly lies.

      • The Prime Minister serves at the blessing of the monarch. The monarch can make speeches. The monarch can introduce legislation. The monarch can retire a communist, pro-pedophile archbishop who openly states he is an athiest who admires Islam. The monarch can call up the army and the navy to defend the shores from invasion.
