This administration will NEVER take responsibility for F-ing up the Afghanistan withdrawal…

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was pressed by Rep. Jim Bank (R-IN) about the botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan during a House hearing on Wednesday and said he has no regrets with how the evacuation was handled.

“Do you have regrets about the withdrawal from Afghanistan?” Banks asked.

“I support the President’s decision,” Austin replied.

“Do you have regrets about the withdrawal or how the withdrawal occurred from Afghanistan that cost the lives of 13 of our service members?” Banks followed-up.

“I don’t have any regrets,” said Austin.

  1. Austin and Biden must resign over the Afghan debacle. Those clowns had better realize they work for the American people and they have been screwing up from day one. Austin is a no-nothing when it comes to running the Dept. of Defense and his boss in the White House is an imposter and a bumbling fool.

    • They are supposed to work for the American people. They really work for their Chinese paymasters.

  2. Every senior Military leader and State Department person that was involved in the Afghanistan removal should be removed and if they cannot be jailed they should be released without a pension and not allowed any service with a company that serves the government. These people should have had all US weapons, arms, and goods destroyed so that no one had access to it when we left. It was clear that the Afghans we had running the country we useless.

    • Miley should have been in Levinworth 10 seconds after he openly violated a direct presidential order by Trump and colluded with the Commie Chinese behind Trump’s back.

Along with all the other feckless officers, staffers, bureau and division leaders.

Maybe even fire up the Fed’s Old Sparky or set up gibbets in the courtyard of said prison, or in the courtyard of the Pentagon and in the courtyards of all the bureaus and divisions where said traitors lurked. For the encouragement of others, so to speak.

  3. Gonna put on my “racist” hat now-
Obama had a wonderful opportunity to show a black (half-black?) man could be a great leader and unify the country.
    He failed. Miserably.

Austin reached “Star Rank” in the Army for what reason?
    Affirmative action and politics?
He had a wonderful opportunity to show a black man could do an outstanding job managing the defense of the Nation.
    He’s failing.

Smart, Conservative black people must be mighty disappointed.

  4. One cold bastard. I wondered long ago if I might someday think there really is a time when fragging could be justified, morally, ethically, or both.

    Yes.

  5. No comment due to New Years resolution against fed poasting.

Doc Soviak was from my town. The procession was miles long..

Sec Def Austin can slow roast in hell.

  6. I read that A Marine had eyes on and a kill shot once the guy who blew everyone up but couldn’t get permission to take the shot. I feel sorry for that guy. He followed orders and watched a tragedy unfold that he could probably have stopped. I hope he doesn’t beat himself up over it, but I’m betting it’s weighing heavy on him. I wonder what they would have done to him if he had not asked permission or just straight up disobeyed and saved those people. But there is the possibility the bomb was armed with a dead man switch and as soon as he got hit and his thumb came off the switch, it went off.
I wasn’t there, IDK squat, but it just seems like of every decision made the Absolute Worst choice of all the potential directions available was The Choice.
