I’m surprised…

It took this long…

The daughter of Scott Smith who was 15 at the time she was sexually assaulted by a boy in the girl’s bathroom has filed a lawsuit against the school system for $30 million.

A teenage girl who was sexually assaulted in a Virginia high school bathroom has sued Loudoun County Public Schools, alleging that school officials failed to heed warning signs about her attacker and responded to her May 2021 assault by trying to cover it up.

The teenager, who filed the lawsuit under the pseudonym “Jane Doe” along with her parents, was 15 years old when a younger, male student in a skirt assaulted her in a girls’ bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn on May 28, 2021.

The incident garnered national attention. Conservatives protested a policy in Loudoun County schools — put in place after the assault — that allowed transgender students to use bathrooms matching their gender identity. Meanwhile, outraged parents in Loudoun County questioned why the perpetrator was moved to a different school, where he assaulted a second female student months later.

Full article, HERE.

The dominoes are starting to fall in Loudoun County VA! First, the former superintendent Scott Ziegler was fired, then sued over retaliatory actions (and convicted last week or so), and now this.

The ‘irony’ if you will is that Loudoun and Fairfax school systems are continuing to ignore the parent’s inputs and are going hard left/DEI/EIEIO and refusing to obey state law on what can and can’t be done in schools since the republican governor took over.

The hubris and ‘we elites know better’ attitude is just stunning!

I can only hope it costs them the $30 million and a lot more before this is all over, because the boy raped another girl a couple of months later at another school in the county!

  1. More Americans are experiencing the “daily outrage” that we feel. The insane attitudes backed up by irresponsible behavior that we see across the country will have to stop.

Will Pedo Joe get 100 million votes in his election bid? Who will count them? We stand on the precipice.

  2. What is wrong with the people of today? What is wrong with the people who ACTUALLY think that it’s the Israelis fault!
And it’s not only the Stupid, Ignorant Young Collage People, but it’s also many of the Stupid, Ignorant, and perhaps UN-Informed Adults as well. Or is it the propagandists for the progressive communist democrats, and their policy of appeasement that convinces these Dumbbells, that the Iranians, Hamas, and the other Bastards are in the right when they Cheat, Lie, and steal ?
When Children are found ‘butchered’ in Israeli kibbutz, ,and burned alive, and thrown in a Pit isn’t that more than enough to show them that these Hamas’ attacks are the fault of the Arabs?
One would think that some of these highly educated individuals would understand that what they are seeing is pure, unadulterated terrorism.

They might even go so far as to ask a fundamental question: Why is Israel suddenly responsible for Arab-Palestinians?

Hamas sent those Monsters to slaughter parents in front of their children, assault women, abduct grandparents and parade them as trophies. It’s the geopolitical equivalent of figuratively (and possibly literally) Blaming Rape Victims for what they have done!
And then talk about is what Israel did wrong. Like those Despicable Harvard Student Groups that sent that letter blaming Israelis for that Massacre

  3. The problem with winning a lawsuit against a public school, is that the taxpayers end up paying for it. What needs to be done is to sue the individuals that were responsible for the decisions that were made.

    • Absolutely correct. If the decision makers were to be held responsible, then there might be some real change. If he lost his house, his retirement, his savings o a judgement, then perhpas the rest of his ilk might think more clearly about what they are supposed to be doing rather than pushing an ideology despite the harm it causes.

As it is, no one really learns a lesson.

    • Most local governments have liability insurance coverage. That limits the exposure of taxpayers in lawsuits.

  4. She couldn’t file until she was 18. That’s why there was the wait.

    • Possibly a statute of limitations issue in a civil suit. If her parents didn’t file in time for an injury done to her as a minor, (depending on State law), she may be able to file the suit when she turns 18.

  5. The Left doesn’t care. Even if the school system loses the lawsuit, only the tax payers will pay. The solution is to make it personal. If the school board is engaging in illegal activities, arrest them for breaking those laws, and add in conspiracy charges, and top it off with racketeering charges for punishing the victims.

And if the woke prosecutors won’t take up the case? They will continue until they are made to stop. BAMN.

Politics is war by other means.

  6. I moved my family from California to Loudoun County in 96 due to business. Me and my wife found the schools to be poor compared to the school district our sons were previously in. We had problems with the teachers, the admin, and the school board all the way until our sons graduated in 04 and 05. We ended up tutoring or sons to teach them properly. The school system got worse after our sons graduated but we moved.

  7. Rot and decay doesn’t get better over time unless it’s ripped out and replaced.

  8. LL- That we do… sigh

Dean- Honestly, I think it’s the ‘schools’ that are indoctrinating the kids, and the lefty parents that ‘toe the dem’s line/agenda’ that are putting that crap out there.

TT/B/McC- Yeah, y’all are correct, BUT the #$@#$@#$ school boards have ‘structured’ their charters such that the ‘members’ are immune from direct lawsuits.

    John/John- I hadn’t thought about that.

    Beaner- Doesn’t it though!

JG- You’re not the first one I’ve heard say that.

    Ag- Agreed!

  9. The school board and all related should be 1) prosecuted as accessories after the fact for the rape of this young lady. 2) prosecuted as accessories before the fact for the rape of the young lady at the second school.
Once found criminally libel then the LCSB, principals, et. al. can be individually civilly sued into poverty.
