    Out early this morning, running the dogs. Fox jumped out of a rock-pike. Everybody had a wonderful time, except maybe the fox, and he was too busy to comment.

  7. This was the quietest New Year’s Eve since moving to Silicon Valley in the 70’s. Not a single gunshot or firecracker was heard from the house. Lots of Asians around here that set off noisemakers for days, normally. And, with a cattle pasture across the street, people aim guns it that direction for a “safer” backstop.

    I don’t know what’s up, but this is worrisome.

  8. Regarding Rod Stewart, turns out he has eight kids with 5 women, some of which he actually married. Ages of the kids ranges from 59 to 12. First one they put up for adoption, since he didn’t have an income at age ~17.
