If plastic water bottles are okay, but plastic bags are banned, – you might live in a country run by idiots.
If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally, – you might live in a country run by idiots. If you must get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion, or change your gender, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If you must show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman who is confined to a wheelchair or a three-year-old girl can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If your government believes the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage, – you might live in a country run by idiots.

And lastly, keep this is mind…If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor.
If you cross the Iranian border illegally, you are detained indefinitely.
If you cross the Afghan border illegally, you get shot.
If you cross the Saudi Arabian border illegally, you will be jailed.
If you cross the Chinese border illegally, you may never be heard from again.
If you cross the Venezuelan border illegally, you will be branded a spy and your fate will be sealed.
If you cross the Cuban border illegally, you will be thrown into political prison to rot.
If you cross the United States border illegally, you get a job, a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, credit cards, subsidized rent or a loan to buy a house, free education, free health care, a lobbyist in Washington, billions of dollars’ worth of public documents printed in your language, the right to carry your country’s flag while you protest that you don’t get enough respect and, in many instances, you can vote.

A bit different when you actually write them down and look at them, isn’t it?

  1. *Looks at clock*

It’s too early to start drinking; I still have to drive the kids to school.

  2. The inmates are truly running the asylum here in USA. All of this HAS to be on purpose.

  3. You need to add to that:
If you must show your identification to board an airplane
If you are Illegal, you don’t have to provide any identification or be searched at all to get on a plane. How long will it be before that info is used?

  4. I know this is off-topic, but anyone else finding it totally impossible to
reach Virtual Mirage? I get a some kind of go-daddy page in desktop and an error message on the mobile.

    Sorry to hijack, Old NFO.

  5. What it feels like Knowing all of that Is a very different thing from reading it, all laid out, nice and neat, letting it just wash over my bent and bruised psyche. YaKnow, that’s the kinda moment that fits a Monday. And as much as That is, it doesn’t quite cover All the bases. The Right There in front of us,so blatantly obvious inversion of how laws are, or aren’t, enforced just drives me nuts. Watching the cops get beaten down, and the guys who did it just get put back on the streets, while every lefty keeps telling me the laws are evenly applied to everyone.
The crazies are driving the Normies crazy. And when the switch finally gets flipped, I think they will honestly wonder why everyone is so pisstawf..
C’mon, they Hate the people who provide the fuel that makes the electricity and vote for legislation that punishes them, and then are Shokkt when the electric bill goes up.
Ohh,Lookie! My blood pressure is trying for a
    Personal Best..

  6. An interesting breakdown might be a division of how any of these items are by law versus how many are by rule of unelected bureaucrats.

    • Decisions made by people who believe that the (political) benefits will accrue to them, while the costs will always be paid by others.

Voted for by people who have never known genuine hardship, and therefore believe that safety and prosperity are theirs by some kind of divine right, regardless of what stupidity they indulge in.

Generations of “rich” kids, squandering the inheritance that their ancestors worked and fought for.

    • Yeah, it should. I didn’t used to despise Them for their Stupidity. Now I do. Because their Stupid is hurting all of us.

  7. Most of the above is true, here, too.

We have just been informed that the police “cannot find evidence” that a protest in which people were bashed and the crowd were filmed clearly chanting “Gas. The. Jews”, was violent or broke any of the multiple laws against incitement to violence and racial hatred.

  8. All- Thanks and I agree with y’all! Larry will be back soon. He’s working some hosting issues.

  9. Are you telling us that The Man behind the Curtain is currently unavailable? He’s not getting the balloon ready for takeoff is he? I mean, shits getting weird out here. We don’t need him to just HawAss..
