Many leftists have made their allegiances clear in the war between Hamas and Israel. This includes members of the mainstream media who have sought to equivocate between Islamic terrorists and the Jewish state — and sometimes report outright lies.
One journalist has taken his bias toward Hamas to an extreme, and it won’t shock you when you find out what outlet he works for.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, since this has been going on for a while. Fifth and Sixth Columns go back to the Spanish Civil War in the mid-1930s.
And usually the ‘media’ was involved in one way or the other, but I don’t think it’s been as blatant as we’ve seen it in the last ten years or so.

Blatant propaganda under the cloak of impartiality? I just wish that there was a mechanism for punishing the organisations that tolerate it.

At least AlJazeera tells us the truth as to where their sympathies lie.
Not so the rest of the “Media”. They pretend to be even handed. AJ is obviously and blatantly partisan and they don’t hide the fact.
a) When a journalist asserts that Jamal Kassogi (spelling) is a journalist, it raises the question of whether it is wrong to torture and murder journalists.
b) This has actually been going on forever. Remember the Herms! (Alcibiades, and the Athenian war with Syracuse. IIRC.) But, seriously, industrialized mass media has allowed a lot of information manipulation schemes.
c) The process of subculture formation around American universities has been ongoing for decades. Their sentiment is similar, but what has changed is their ability to fool themselves into thinking that they have won. So, they ‘went full Bullworth’ (and that phrase should have clued us in on how bad the weed is for thinking and living a civilized life) at first, and now are increasingly desperate to terrorize us into submission with displays.
d) Ask them where they learned to hate? ‘You’ told them it was okay to go to school.
e) What kind of social change will occur is unclear. But the status quo seems unlikely to hold. So somethign will probably change.

Those that have taken over the Democrat Party and the news media as well as the education system from public schools to the colleges have one agenda and that is to destroy our Constitution and Republican form of government. What they envision, in their warped mind, is a socialist form of government that allows those at the top to enjoy all the work of the underlings. Only the elite will have freedoms under their sick idea of Utopia.
John Watson you are right. That is why I sent my sons to Trade Schools in the early 2000s as me and my wife saw how bad the education system had become.
Gaza is the Palestinians (Arab) State but they teach every child from an early age that Israel must be destroyed. You should not call it Hamas, as Hamas is the political and military part of the Palestinians. Think of Hamas like the Democrats. Me and my wife had Israeli Arab Immigrants as neighbors for years and learned that Israel is made up of Jews, Christians, and Arabs as Citizens. The Palestinians attacked Israel even through Israel provided energy and water to Gaza.
We keep hearing two state solution but there was Gaza and Israel already so that was two states. The Palestinians do not want to end the fight, but stop Israeli attacks until they can rebuild their military forces.
It was well known in the 60’s that the Soviets had bought their way into all journalism schools and most news organizations.
Why would anything be different now?

Hamas is evil, full stop. Beheading babies, burning children alive, gang rapes and on and on. Anyone who gives the slightest support for Hamas is someone who will commit the same evil if the circumstances allow. They deserve our scorn, and we should shun them.
