I live in a rural area got Starlink last year after repeated outages of Fronteer
Throughout winter storms thunderstorms etc. it kept quietly working
Longest outage was about 15 minutes
Every time they launch the service gets better
Currently in heavy overcast
Ping success 99.85 Latency 25ms power draw 37 w longest outage 41 seconds
Little or no slowdown with multiple devices connected, wife constantly on video conference
Water. Electricity. WIFI/Internet.
We don’t realize how dependent we have become until they’re not available.
Pioneers… we ain’t, huh?
