Talk about ‘inside knowledge’…

A grand jury indicted former FBI Director James Comey in September on charges of making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding. Comey pleaded not guilty on October 8.

Comey’s legal troubles are just beginning, however, as federal prosecutors are seeking to remove Comey defense attorney Patrick Fitzgerald from his case, citing a conflict of interest.

Full article, HERE from Town Hall.

Since Fitzgerald was the so called ‘middleman’ getting information from Comey to the law professor, he’s at least culpable in the handling of classified documents…

And who knows what else he was involved in? I can’t help but wonder if Comey’s use of him as his attorney was to prevent Fitzgerald from being called as a witness?

Or was there going to be a claim of ‘attorney/client privilege’ among other things?

I don’t know where this is all going to go, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to need more popcorn and probably a dictionary to figure out what they are saying. The question will be ‘which’ dictionary to use… sigh

  1. Yeah, no more kings. We already had one in Obama and another one in President Autopen.

  2. The game of ‘Attorney-client privilege’ was the one the Clintons had perfected. I still remember reading a post on how President Clinton used it to silence people in his inner circle from telling what they knew. So it looks like the playbook hasn’t changed.

  3. Comey not only admitted to releasing these documents to his professor buddy, but he did also it on FOX NEWS. Play the clip and put him in prison.

  4. Hey Old NFO,

I hope they get him and make him spend time in Club Fed( Hey I’m a realist) they need to make a an example out of several people or it will prove that there is a 2 tier justice system, one for us and one for “them”

  5. Stepping back a little further , Comey after a conversation with A.G. Loretta Lynch , decided Hillary was not really responsible for her mishandling of classified info , that never set right with me . The investigators present the amassed facts to the A.G. , and doesn’t / shouldn’t make recommendations on charges to be brought or not brought forward and filed . Hillary had been getting security briefings going back probably to the days of her being the “First Lady” in Arkansas . H was a governors wife , a presidents wife , a senator , secretary of state , and a presidential candidate . All military and government employees that work with, or may come in contact with any level of classified sit down and get the boring ass talks and videos about handling of classified shit and “sign the clipboard” . She knew damn good and well having a server and using phones isn’t done , she was guilty as f . Comey was /is as about as partisan as they come . I only bring up Hillary because she is really where this collusion and intrigue started . I think it is often forgotten too how Jeff Sessions’ recusing himself and tacitly turning a blind eye played a role in this saga.

Not trying to be off topic , because damnit there were a lot of people involved in this mess.

and tacitly turning a blind eye to the goings on played a part

  6. My typing got messed up …sorry , don’t know what happened there . I don’t think Comey or Bolton or Pompeo (now on the board of Kyivstar-Ukraine’s largest cell provider) will be given any punitive action . Hell bring in Jack Keane too , I’m sure he’s dirty too !! LOL !!

  7. With both the Comey and Bolton cases assigned to Biden appointed judges, I won’t expect much in the way of justice.

  8. All- Thanks, and yes, it’s time for a change. Will it happen? I don’t know, but ‘maybe’ this is a first step.

  9. Biden judges + Uber liberal Washington DC juries=
Comey and the rest of his cronies will probably be deified, given all back pay, reinstated & a statue of him placed in prominent places all around Washington.

  10. I’m no lawyer, but it sure seems to me if a client’s attorney is an active participant in the client’s criminal act, wouldn’t the attorney-client privilege be nullified?

  11. I’m going to need more popcorn and probably a dictionary.
Is “dictionary” a euphemism for an adult beverage?
