I really don’t understand this one at all…
A federal judge has ordered federal immigration authorities to release an illegal immigrant gang member with multiple unlawful entries into the United States and whose criminal history includes rape and robbery, Fox News Digital has learned.
Earlier this month, U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson, an Obama appointee, ordered the release of Carlos Antonio Flores-Miguel, an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador, from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said.
“This activist, Obama-appointed judge RELEASED Carlos Antonio Flores-Miguel, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador and MS-13 gang member, from ICE Custody,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Releasing violent criminals is inexcusably reckless and now this criminal will be able to perpetrate more crimes against innocent Americans.”

Why would any actual judge release somebody like this into the general public? Or is this a purely political move on her part to ‘punish’ ICE and the administration?
Also, who died and made her the Queen of America???
I’m at the point that I’d be in favor of penalties for ANY judge/DA/chief/sheriff that releases somebody like this and they reoffend. As far as I’m concerned, they should suffer the same penalties the offender gets! Same prison, one cell over would be fine with me…

Sadly, there is almost no realistic way to punish judges who abuse their authority. Vote them out if they are that persuasion, but it seldom happens. Really, all that’s left for people to protect themselves from the malfeasance is the occasional quiet little French inspired evening. Al La Lanterne!
Federal judges are appointees. No option to vote them out.
It is a political move. As her position she should not be involved in immigration as there are immigration Judges under the Admin, but many Federal Judges do not like Trump and his Admin so they try to affect it anyway they can.

There was a Sheriff who recently refused to release a criminal against the judges orders (long rap sheet, the crook, not the judge). Judge threatened contempt but who’s going to arrest the Sheriff? Need more of this.
Did this black robed pirate issue a statement showing the LEGAL basis for this ruling? Or is it simply doing what all corrupt leftist judges do.
Everyone in office from POTUS down seem to be saying “I can do whatever I want”. It’s like they WANT us to fix it the hard way.
These judges are crafting these decisions and orders to position themselves for appointment to higher benches under the next Democratic administration. Boasberg will be appointed to the Supreme Court by the next Democratic administration.
A) Jan. 12, 2021, 3/4 of ABA accredited law schools had their heads and acting heads endorse a novel legal theory that purported to be bipartisan, and was also intended to cut only one way, for one single target.
B) Per this theory, criminal defense law, and judicial acts of releasing criminals are something that there could be liability for if certain criteria are met. The novel legal theory would still be a terrible precedent to set. Tolerating it standing is a terrible precedent.
C) ABA law schools are perhaps a monopoly, and could foster improper collusion.
D) RICO is a fairly wild law. The ramifications are limited if you don’t get a bunch of academics who become alien by thinking critical theory very hard, and if said ninnies do not use a wide range of official positions to potentially become implicated in patterns of choices around certain acts of arson and murder committed in the last ten years.
