Yawn…

A ‘typical’ weekend in Chiraq… Probably a ‘good’ thing they didn’t get to host any of the FIFA World Cup!

A violent and deadly weekend in Chicago has caught the attention of President Donald Trump.

Fox News Digital has confirmed six people were killed and 39 people were shot in a series of shootings in the Windy City over the weekend.

A mass drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Princeton Park neighborhood resulted in 13 people injured Friday night. Chicago police say an SUV drove up on a crowd of people and two suspects opened fire on multiple victims.

Full article, HERE from Fox News. And HERE is ABC’s coverage. And my personal favorite, Second City Cop, HERE.

I guess they are so used to shootings/murders/robberies up there that it’s just another day to them…

Pritzger had a chance to use national guard, but no, as usual they weren’t called. Sigh…

And since the Bears will be moving, that is going to reduce the number of people that can be robbed, so I wonder if the out of work robbers will get money from the city???

They sure seem to be ‘free’ with giving money to folks, as long as they are illegals, ‘underserved minorities’, etc. But it seems Obummer can’t pay his bills for his ‘presidential library’, which has NO presidential documents or research capability.

What’s up with that???

Or should I just not be asking???

  1. Chicago is emblematic of lefty hellholes. The left is trying to destroy the improvements made in DC as well, but it’s what they do. The hellscape of San Francisco means that the place looks as if it were hit by a zombie apocalypse — maybe it was?

  2. I saw the Mayor of Chicago decrying Trump for “taking away” their “gun violence prevention money.” Not sure what money had been taken away, but it apparently worked so well to reduce “gun violence” before it was “taken away” (yeah right).🤬

  3. Point #1 It’s the Obama Presidential Center; it is not a presidential library. BHO did not want to abide by the rules and regulations to be a library.

Point #2 All presidential libraries or centers are a scam. Those papers and communications should reside in the National Archives IMHO.

    • *wags paw in historian* Not all of us have the funds to travel to DC, KC, or the other major archival centers, and the presidential documents could well end up scattered all over, since many National Archive documents are assigned by topical area instead of by president (so foreign policy might be in DC, while domestic policy related to Native Americans could end up in KC, and so on). Too, the National Archives administers the document part of presidential libraries, or is supposed to.

Once big concern for historians is that with the rise of electronic documents and communications, a lot of material is purely bits and bytes. All it takes is one “accidental” oopsie, and whoosh, there go a lot of important (or potentially awkward or illegal) documents.
