Is going to get interesting!!!
The Washington, D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the United States Postal Service can move ahead — for now — with a rule change with major implications for mail-in ballot reform and state compliance with federal review.
The court granted the motion for stay in the case of the NAACP v. USPS, based on the strength of the appellants’ arguments. In other words, the court agreed that USPS is likely to win its case based on the Constitution and on the timeframe which the Postal Service has to implement a framework for ballots ahead of the midterm elections.
Bill Essayli, first assistant U.S. attorney for the central district of California, posted, “This ruling is a win for election integrity and would have significant implications for states like California that refuse to submit their voter rolls to verify compliance with federal election laws.”

Granted, this won’t do anything for ‘state’ elections, but it definitely will have an impact on Federal elections!
I find it interesting that the NAACP are the ones suing over this too…
Makes one wonder doesn’t it?
Other day, I wound up checking the claim of the meme that Harris states are fraud by mail states.
Technically, the mail in voting rules by state are more complicated than that, but the interpretation is reasonable.
Fundamentally, we are looking a stubbornness contest between an unknown state space of American hearts. There are all these little indicators of tactics that may work. But, we are outside of where rote recitation of formula is a fully accurate predictor. So it is a stubbornness contest.
The elites who claim to represent the blacks do not. Decades of policy was that we needed a jobs program to train elites that will represent blacks, as a counter to conspiracies to screw over blacks. 2020 more or less proved that these elites represent their own narrow elite interests, and will cheerfully screw over blacks by burning down poor neighborhoods. (Anti-fa and BLM are white supremacist terrorist organizations. NAACP these days may only be white supremacist, but not terrorist.)
Americans are not racist enough to make a racial spoils system serve that theoretical goal.
This having become obvious, therefore some sort of change will happen.
My rant is shorter. I’m happy to see incremental change. NAACP was never about “rights – or rats as they say in the South.”
X2
Bob- Agreed!
LL/WSF- True!
It will affect “State” elections also, as they are generally the same ballot.
It ain’t perfect but it is a start.
