Which is why William is more than willing to help Feliogustus’s allies with their problems, no matter how small. For a goddess such as Vikoria the Bountiful, who traded away her ability to have a champion, this is quite a boon. For gods with champions who aren’t willing to deal with inconsequential (to them) affairs, or who are busy elsewhere, this is also a boon.

For Feliogustus’s it’s a way to spread his name ‘under-the-radar’, so to speak, and plays into his long game to become a fixture in the Seven Worlds while helping William solidify his status as a Mythic.

For William, it’s a nice change of pace, from all of the very nasty things he’s had to do the last several years. One that he plans to enjoy for as long as it lasts.
