  1. 1980s comedian Rich Hall had a schtick (and a book) about
“Sniglets (snig’ lit: any word that doesn’t appear in the dictionary, but should.)” A few of them ended up on your list, but others included:
Snackmosphere: the pocket of air found inside snack and/or potato chip bags.
Pursabyss: where unrecovered belongings reside within a woman’s handbag.

This link purports to be a comprehensive list:

But it lacked my favorite, which is “Nevadaluminum” which is what you get when the the crack in aluminum foil propagating along the sawtooth edge of the box that the foil comes in hangs up partway and then departs along a diagonal path.

    In the comments, people added:

Emeneminize: Eating yor M&Ms in color order

Pepsirimiter: The two inch zone of black plastic on the bottom of a two liter bottle of Pepsi making you think that there is still a glass of Pepsi left in your bottle.

Tectonic McShift: The tendency of the top half and the bottom half of a Big Mac bun to slide in opposite directions upon the first bite. Believed to be caused by the lubricating action of the “special sauce.”

    – – –

My wife and I made up “Obstaculators” for ‘two people on an escalator or moving sidewalk who stand abreast of each other so that no one can get by them.’

    • The list also omitted “Microts” which are the two tiny and useless triangles of paper towel material left between your pinched thumbs and forefingers when you tug at a restroom paper towel dispenser that fails to release the next sheet.

    • I liked “the Hozone layer,” where the missing single socks are to be found.

Tornadazone – part of the US with the most mobile homes.
Mobilhomazone – part of US with the most tornadoes. (I grew up in tornado alley, have survived three of the b-tards.)

      • I’ve spent about 28 years in Ohio, and been within a couple hundred yards of tornadoes twice. F4 in April 1999, F1 in 2020. Would not recoomend.

  2. Cementery: Burial grounds for demolished home improvement projects (think driveways, porches, walkways)
