I woke up this morning to find that congress had changed hands last night, by a significant amount. Come January, the Democrats will be fully in charge. Michigan elected a socialist and Texas (Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso and the RGV) elected Talifreako to the senate and Hinojosa to the governorship. That seems to be the over-arching result.
The next two years are going to be interesting and the 2028 Presidential race started yesterday.
And, IMHO, everything ‘we’ believe in will be under attack from the left, if what I’m seeing from the elected Dems is correct… sigh
I intend to become a hermit to avoid all the posturing, bloviating, bell ringing nonsense that is headed our way. The revenge plans against President Trump and supporters is going to be sickening. So, wake me up in 3 years.

Anyone else notice how fast the election counts were this time around ? Past couple of elections, sometimes took a couple of weeks.
Trump was a bit of an a$$ claiming he wasn’t on the ballot. The GOP did a lousy job of defending and explaining why the tariffs are in place. Unless you commute long distance every day, gas prices were fairly easy to budget – buy on the down loops.

No thanks to Trump and the Republican party, the party of “know nothing” the results were inevitable. The American people have a very short memory, and the Republicans fail over and over again to remember that. Under Biden, the national average price of gasoline peaked at an all-time high of $5.03 per gallon in June 2022. But four years later, no one cares about that. They care that it’s currently $4.50 to $4.56 per gallon and Orange man is directly responsible for it.
And they know full well it was caused by a ridiculous and unnecessary war with no plan, no goal and no endgame that was started by Trump and things are not getting better. Prices have gone up no thanks to the war and everyone – the entire world – knows it was on Trump’s watch.
Please tell me what three major goals Trump, Vance or any of these chattering skulls have for their party to achieve in the next two years to make our lives better? Anyone…anyone…didn’t think so.
Sure, they got rid of a few thousand illegals. But did they arrest the people (often Republicans) who hired them? Nope.
People always vote against the candidate they see as making their lives worse regardless of who the opponent is. It’s a F-U vote which, unfortunately, because people are stupid, will come back and bite them and their families in the ass for the foreseeable future.
