Some of the stranger things seen thus far on the trip…
This car was driven by a Ken/Barbie couple, all dressed up in their ‘nautical’ outfits…
And no it’s not a wrap, it appears to be painted…
Coming through SFO last night, they had an artist’s display of ‘junk’ converted to art.
This was, at least to me, a relatively interesting piece…
It’s a full sized Hummer, done completely out of discarded styrofoam. It didn’t say how long it took for the artist to actually collect it. He hand formed all of the pieces/parts himself and “I” think he did a damn good job!
Interestingly, there was ‘humor’ in the little tag. It read in part “always garaged, low mileage, never driven in the rain!” 🙂
And what is it with couples on the left coast? 6’5″+ guys with girls that are barely 5′ tall??? Must have seen six or eight couples like that between SEA, SFO, and SAN yesterday evening…
I saw tall/short couple jokes on Reddit yesterday. They post pics of themselves online and invite lascivious comments about how easy it is for her to…never mind.
If you attempt to equate the machinations of the “Lunatic Fringe Left Coasters” with some form of logic, you will continually be frustrated. They do actually come up with cool art – but at what a cost socially?
That’s a cool way to recycle styrofoam that both removes it from the landscape AND ticks off the Lefties. 🙂
BTW, my bro-in-law is 6’5″, and his wife is 4’11 1/2″. Further Affiant sayeth not.
Interesting art and pretty cool. But be careful in SFO. If you drop your billfold, kick it to Stockton before you bend over to pick it up.
I’m 6′ 1″, my wife is 5′ and we’re in Florida, so it’s not a West coast thing. She calls me her bodyguard and “reacher of high objects”.
My daughter explained the tall guy short girl thing. A girl is supposed to be small, the taller/bigger the guy, the smaller the girl looks next to him. Doesn’t explain my 5’10” ex-wife with me (5’1″ on a good day).
