Numbers…

The REAL numbers don’t lie or do they???

CA claimed 5 million hits on their obummercare site, apparently the actual number that ACCESSED the site was 540,000 with only 77,000 that actually signed up in the first three days.

CT apparently only had 14,000 visits…

NY claimed 2 million visits, no actual numbers being published on actual access or signups…

Healthcare.gov apparently had only 2.8 million hits.

And MD apparently has a rather ‘interesting’ privacy policy on theirs…

There is a statement floating around that the websites were ONLY designed to handle 50,000 accesses at a time… WTF???

I cannot believe the designers were that stupid…

  1. (a) I do believe that the designers could be that stupid

    (b) Most of the people accessing the sites were looking for their “free” healthcare, not something that they had to pay for with a $5,000 deductible.

Those who “registered” didn’t actually “sign up”.

  2. Well I’m popping another batch of Popsecret popcorn in the ol’ “nuke” oven, while watching the implosion of zerocare. Unfortunately, in this two front war (libs and their media enablers), it’s going to be a long one. Not sure of the outcome, but it is kinda like the Battle of Gettysburg, with the battle just “happening”. Of course this fight has been brewing for a long time.

    Stay Safe!

  3. +1 to LL’s observations. Both the current administration and its plans, and the Affordable Care Act, are all jokes. Unfortunately, they’re jokes at our expense.

  4. More importantly, are the people who are opening accounts “normal” people or are they uninsurable? It’s entirely possible that the only people signing up are the people who can’t buy normal insurance. If that’s the case, this system will go broke before June. The Obama Administration has to strong arm young and healthy people who don’t use their insurance to pay high premiums in order to keep the system solvent.

But who is kidding whom? The system will go bankrupt and the federal government will bail it out so the taxpayer will take it in the neck anyway. It’s all part of the ObamaNation.

  5. Jim- Sadly I wonder if/how long we will be allowed to remain on the sidelines…

    Rev- Dead on… dammit!

    LL- Right again! Dammit… Again…

  6. Having coffee tomorrow with one of my hardcore “Progressive” friends. We graduated from High School together. She is a volunteer to signing up people for Obamacare. Should be an interesting morning as I needle her.
