Sen. Chris Murphy, D-CT is VERY anti-gun. Now he’s taking it to the next level and the true agenda is coming out…

“Gun control has become a litmus test issue for leadership in the Democratic Party,” he told an interviewer. “I think this presidential election has proven that you have to be right on the issue of guns.”

Apparently in addition to the administration having kittens, some dancing monkey from Hollyweird named Wheaton s**t all over her on twitter too. Since I don’t do that stuff, I don’t have a copy, but apparently he got bitch slapped for his comments.

Interestingly, I haven’t been able to find a single incidence of coverage of ANY shooting on TV, other than archery. Costas gave an ‘overview’ of the US women participating last night on TV, but failed to mention Kim Rhode, or any of the other female shooters other than Thrasher.

IMHO, NBC is playing right along with the administration’s guns are bad philosophy, and refusing to allow those sports to actually GET any publicity.

  1. This has got to go down as an “All Time Classic Moment” in politics! Barry has got to be saying to himself, “Now how in the hell did we not get shooting banned from the Olympics?” I guess the libs have more work to do. And I thought they controlled that agenda.

  3. Historically, in the modern Games, shooting has always been the first medals awarded. But, yeah, it’s non-PC to actually cover the events. So, we need to follow it on the NRA media.

Senator Chris Murphy beat Nancy Johnson — and will continue to beat any Republican candidate in his district — because the Dummycrats in the state legislature gerrymandered the district to split the solidly Republican northwest CT between two other districts, both of which include huge inner city populations, which are bought and paid for by the Dummycrats. Those of use in the northwest corner of the state are completely disenfranchised.

  6. NBC is sleeping in the White House, so of course they aren’t going to cover anything good about guns.

    Because just as Eric Holder said, “What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we’ve changed our attitudes about cigarettes. You know, when I was growing up, people smoked all the time. Both my parents did. But over time, we changed the way that people thought about smoking, so now we have people who cower outside of buildings and kind of smoke in private and don’t want to admit it.” Laughter followed.

    If the Left, Hollywood, Media and Academia hammer this “guns are the enemy”, we’ll have a generation one day who will actually believe it!

    Too bad people are such sheeple.

  7. The 10-meter competition was covered live Saturday morning, 10am on NBCSP (590 on my provider). Maybe 20 minutes worth. Nice placement of targets in lower corners as full screen showed shooters from a high 12 o’clock point of view.
    Other shooting on streaming (subscription) coverage which I don’t have.

Note too, that the 19-year-old girl won the first gold medal for the U.S. in Olympic competition, that another 19-year-old girl won the 1500 meter free-style swimming AND set a new world record,plus another swimming world record (I’ve forgotten the event), but neither Hil-LIAR-y nor Mullah Obama bothered to say a single word about that. How fucking pathetic IS that?

    • Ah, you see Scottiebill, they are the wrong KIND of women. They are self-disciplined, hard-working, and independent. Women of that sort are a threat to the leaders of the Victim-of-the-Month Club. (And I wish I had 1/10 the shooting chops that young lady has.)

  11. They can fucking bring it. I’d rather have a straight up stand out fight than face a dozen phony grass roots groups and ballot inaitives in purple states
