SCOTUS…

What happens now?

At least half of the country was surprised by Donald Trump’s victory on election night, and Washington is now scrambling to guess how he will lead in the White House and abroad. But the most lasting effect of the Trump presidency could be his power to shape the Supreme Court, where he has one vacancy to fill now and the possibility of more in the years ahead.

Good article HERE on politco.com

I’m going to be out of pocket for a couple of days, so light blogging and commenting…

Oh and as usual, another dancing monkey lied… Dunham refuses to leave… HERE.

SCOTUS… — 13 Comments

  1. The article states that Trump might have reason to regret a strict constructionist. Perhaps, then again, the rest of us can hope for another Alito and checks and balances once more.

  2. Dang it. That harpy from that HBO show about crass, immoral females refuses to follow through on her promise? The whole group of entertainers that promised to leave if Trump won is the ONLY reason I voted for him. Next I guess it will be reported the Cher won’t be going to Jupiter.

  3. Who knew a bunch of emo, reactionary, liberals would LIE?

  4. Enjoy your walk-about.

Trump’s SCOTUS legacy is hugely important. I think that Pence will help guide that process as will Gingrich and others. Hopefully he has two or three appointments during his presidency.

  5. SCOTUS was a major issue for me due to the fact so many issues end up there. I feel President Trump will receive enough excellent choices we will be safe in the court for a long time.

As far as dunham, she is just like the rest who lied and will not leave. Remember (D) = Liar.

  6. Good, Canada has too many (in my book, that is defined as more than one) whiny, leftist, social justice worker actors already.

Instead of waiting for California to secede why don’t the other 49 states kick its fruitcake ass out? Keep the military bases and the interior and then ship all the leftists and the illegal immigrants they love to Hollywood.

    • I heard Canadians were referring US Social Justice Warriors to the Mexican and Syrian embassies.

  7. All- Thanks for the comments. I’m down in deer camp with one bar…

    Posted from my iPhone.

  8. The senate could use reconciliation for the vote. Ram that up horrible harrys backside. Perhaps the most effective means the dimocrats have might be to filibuster.
In the end, we will have at bare minimum one new justice and possible four. Clarence Thomas has expressed a desire to retire.
